"Super Mario 3D World represents absolute perfection within video games, put it this way, I've certainly found my favourite game of all time."
Wow, high praise. This game has been getting perfect reviews across the board.
I wonder if they're going to have DLC like the New Super Luigi Bros. DLC?
Guys. He's being sincere in his opinion (this time).
You can't downvote him for his reputation as a Nintendo-less-than-enthusiast, he's not even joking.
Oh, and L0L_WUT, you might wanna stop having the wink smiley at the end of every comment you post, because that really annoys some people (me included).
In my opinion, the Wii console (although it was proclaimed as game-less and having no third party support) had many of the best games of last generation, games like Mario Galaxy and Smash Bros. are just timeless classics, arguably better than any game the other consoles had in their collection.
You should probably read it. It's satire, but it's funny, because some of the early points are actually legitimate and had me confused as to whether it was satire.
And the PS4 and Xbox One do have games? LMAO, the consoles have been out for less than a month, of they've got way less games than the Wii U because it's been out for a year.
PS4 and Xbox One Has no geimz.
Not when compared to any other console out right now (excluding OUYA).
The Wii U can run any game the PS4 can run. The Gamecube can run any game the PS4 can run, of course, with massive downgrades to visual quality (and maybe gameplay) if the devs are willing to put in the effort.
The Wii U is nowhere near as underpowered compared to the competition as the Wii was. The Wii had 68MB of RAM whilst the Xbox 360 had 512MB. This put the Xbox at about 7.5 times more RAM than the Wii. Now look at the Xbox One, with it's 5 gig of RAM (for games), it...
"What Nintendo needs to do is bring a new console for same price as PS4, with identical and better specs so it can at least be considered the most powerful and then bring us the games. They may actually get some kudos for doing so. Otherwise its the same stuff for the next 3 years or so, and no one cares bar the faithfull."
Nintendo did this with the GameCube and the N64. Look how that turned out. :/
The XB1 isn't on par with the PS4 either. Does that make it stop being a next gen console?
I can see what you mean, this Zelda probably won't come next year.
It's only getting announced at next years E3, but Shigeru Miyamoto did say that they thought about showing it at E3 this year.
So it's not too far away. :)
Another thing to remember, though, is that they didn't even start development on the new Smash Bros. until after it's announcement (strange way to do things lol).
I'm pretty sure Brawl was in development for a while before it was announced.
I would have put X further back, considering how massive the game is and how little we've seen of it.
Other than that, that list looks possible, probable, even.
Honestly this didn't show me why next-gen graphics mattered at all. It actually made me feel like next-gen graphics don't matter at all. Yay, a few bushes shake when you walk though them. Next gen!
Hopefully games that are exclusive to the next-gen consoles will look a lot better, but this seems like next-gen graphics don't matter.
That logic is flawed on so many levels.
The word generation refers to all the people born and living at the same time, it means the same thing in consoles, so, since the Wii U was released at around the same time as the PS4 and Xbox One, as well as how it will be co-existing with them for all of it's lifetime, that means that the Wii U classifies as a next gen console.
Even if it was considered the same generation as the PS360, it would still be incredibly silly t...
You still go through the hay magically :/
If it was just because of the lack of games, then you made a poor decision. The Wii U has multiple times more games than the PS4.
There's another reason why the games stay so expensive for so long, the games don't normally get a sequel for 6-8 years, so the stores aren't trying to sell off the older games before the new ones come out.
And it's Nintendo first party. That stuff's quality and definitely worth the 60 bucks even years after it came out.
Yes, a 3DS-like comeback is still possible. It's a bit later into it's life now than the 3DS was, but it's still possible :)
As long as some people share the same opinion as the writer it's fine for them to put some opinion in (of course, don't go overboard hahaha).
It's because PS4 owners have no games to choose from.
Jk jk, although that may have had some effect on it.
