Sony has financial problems?
They're worse off than people think, currently Nintendo has more money in the bank than Sony (which is bad because Sony does more than just consoles).
@Jeffgoldwin
It doesn't matter that the HD can't be upgraded/replaced, because unlike the PS4, you can plug a 2TB hard drive into the back and add another 2TB to your 32gig (as opposed to only getting an extra 1.5TB if you replaced the PS4 hard drive with a 2TB drive).
Nintendo has about 11 billion as Concertoine said, and apparently the Xbox division is losing around 2 billion a year, so Microsoft should be quite willing to get rid of it. But does Nintendo want to buy something that could potentially lose them 2 billion a year (if they didn't turn it around)?
I like the way you said "aside from the 3DS" when Nintendo has always relied more on their handhelds.
That's like talking about Sony and saying that aside from the PS3 and 4, they're most certainly not killing anything other than the Vita.
Seriously, Nintendo's profits over the years are probably 60-70% handheld sales, so you can't just ignore what is 70% of the company.
I think X, while it does have mechs like titanfall, uses them in a very different way. In X it seems like they might be used mainly for movement (you need a vehicle in the massive world the game has) with little fighting.
Titanfall's mechs are like less mobile, larger, stronger soldiers, their main use will be fighting.
Software over hardware, though.
If there's no good news then you don't have to post how bad the news is.
And if you're just being honest then I don't see the point in naming them Nintendo derelicts, you could have just left it at saying there wasn't much or value in the video, which is perfectly fine.
And yeah, X looks delicious.
Please stop with the trolling on Nintendo news.
You're embarrassing yourself, and loosing your bubbles.
If you don't have something nice to say then don't say it.
The graphics are beautiful on the 3DS, not sure about the Wii U, I'll have to see it actually running on a 1080p TV to be sure. It looks like it's good.
I never thought the game looked that bad, but everyone seemed to think it'd be the best thing since sliced cheese. I just didn't agree with that, it looked OK, but not great.
I have a Wii U, but I only buy third party games on it if the dev actually made a good port.
Uh, the Wii U launched with more games than the PS4 and the XBOX ONE.
Also, it doesn't matter to the consumer when the games came out, they're buying the system NOW, they want the games that are out NOW.
Are you calling Mario Kart 8, Wind Waker HD, Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, X, Yarn Yoshi, Super Smash Bros., Sonic Lost World, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, NintendoLand, Nano Assualt Neo, Assassin's Creed 3 and 4, Mass Effect 3, Rayman Legends, Darksiders 2, Injustice; Gods Among Us, Lego City Undercover, CoD Black Ops 2, CoD Ghosts, Fifa, Madden, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, NBA 2K, Need For Speed Most Wanted U, New Super Mario Bros. U, Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge, Resident Evil Revela...
Sharing the gamepad maybe?
In games like Nintendoland it's just as fun to have to work together with the wii remotes as it is playing alone on the gamepad.
Then you'd have a Wii U AND a PS4. Where's the downside? :)
Mario 3D World looks better than any 3D platformer released earlier, and nothing like Mario 64.
Zelda only looks like a gamecube game because it's latest instalment was on the Wii, which had barely any more power than the gamecube (SS still looked really nice).
The Wii U Zelda game will look MUCH better graphically, just wait until it's shown at next year's E3.
Each Nintendo console only get's one mainstream 3D Mario (with the exception of Galaxy 2, but it was one of the best games ever so it's excused).
That's hardly one a year.
I think they're still automatic. It's a shame, really, having the option between paragliding and not paragliding could make for some interesting strategies and shortcuts.
Mario games usually have less hand-holding than any other AAA games do.
I doubt it would be cheaper.
But it would make more sense since Nintendo actually makes money, unlike Xbox.
Why would Nintendo want to buy a division that loses money?
Yes, I went there.
