I never even bothered with 6. Was it worse than 5? Cause 5 was proper shit.
As soon as I read the "7" at the end, my excitement dropped to zero!
Reboot ffs. It's the only way to save the franchise. They've completely ruined the story, characters and even the whole zomb/T virus thing is completely ruined.
Reboot. Do over from the original. Same premise, slow burn introduction of characters and story. Build the tension and then BAM! Zomb bites out someone's jugular! Then it all goes to shit real fast.

Oh cool. Though I know I have no chance. I'll be submitting an entry.
Back to photo made tonight. Like I needed any more incentive lols
Literally spent several hours last night playing with the photo mode and changing the time of day.
If anything I'm even more impressed with the graphics after being able to freeze the game at any time and view the spectacle from any angle.
Sucker Punch should run a "best screen shot" competition. With the top three entries winning some merchandise or something.
I am also loving the paper trail dlc. Great to see a dev offering ...
Been a HUGE Halo far from the moment I saw the original running on Xbox for the first time. Was a truly a moment of awe. Like the first time I saw Mario64 running or Goldeneye64.
Those moments are few and far between these days. Maybe it's because I'm older now. Or the whole law of diminishing returns thing. But it's been a while since I was "In Awe" playing a game.
A couple of games have come close this gen (on both consoles) but just n...
Ok. If your such an expert. What on earth do "tiled resources" or "partially resident textures" (what SONY call the same tech on the PS4) have to do with the frame buffer?
What does "bandwidth" or "throughput" have to do with the frame buffer?
How will either of these specs help the Xbox1 achieve 1080p resolution in games?
Oh right. You don't actually know do you. Your just parroting the same crap...
Sigh.... another person who doesn't know what he's talking about "speculating" and then his comments being taken out of context.
The CPU is not really the issue with Xbox1 resolution. Its the ESRAM. 32mb is simply not enough to hold 1080p frame buffer and the additional stuff Devs want to hold in there too.
More efficient multitasking on the CPU is always a great thing, and will make life easier for devs. But don't expect a sudden jump ...
You pretty much mirrored my own thoughts both with the first impression of un boxing the console and my rationale for purchasing it in the first place.
I'm 34yr old now and have enough disposable income to lash out and get both consoles (though my wife would probably disagree lol). But honestly I wish I had waited to buy the Xbox1. To me it just feels like very large, expensive paper weight at the moment.
And if I could only afford one console at launch ...
Shadowfall was my launch fav. I played through the Campaign several times and still go back to MP on a regular basis. MP rocks hard!
I've clocked countless hours on Resogun. It was seriously my favorite PS4 game prior to Second Son releasing.
Recently Second Son. Currently on my second play through. Seriously addicted at the moment.
Not sure if they count as exclusives but the Dead Nation and the other PS+ freebies have been great and co...
I bought both pretty much at launch (well the Xbone 2weeks after) and to be honest I have been very disappointed with the Xbone so far.
I have been quietly hoping that MS could turn it around. Full points to MS for continued updates and improving the functionality of the console, but it's looking pretty barren in terms of "must have" games for the foreseeable future.
I'm seriously considering selling my Xbone and perhaps purchasing a "...
TLOU is my favorite game of last gen. I will buy the PS4 version simply so I can play it again and again for the rest of this gen when ever I feel the desire to do so.
It and the Uncharted series are the only games I've gone to the trouble of plunging my PS3 back in to play since I bought my PS4 at launch.
I have my fingers crossed that ND do a UC (1, 2, 3) "remaster" for the PS4 too. I still have epic UC session every now and then.

I agree with your second point. There are so many ridiculous unrealistic things going on in modern shooters to get hung up on "exploding barrels".
How about your soldier being able to sprint non stop for half a click, all the while caring a LMG, 600 rounds of ammo, a rocket launcher, a side arm, full webbing and pack, gadgets!
Or the fact that bullet wounds miraculously heal if you 'stay in cover' for a bit. Or the fact that your weapon NEVE...
The exploding barrel is a FPS staple. Along with crates, it just wouldn't be the same without them. Many games make variations to the barrel. But I'm having trouble thinking of a shooter that doesn't have some sort of "container" that explodes to devastating results.
I just finished a play through of Second Son (goody two shoes this time round) and while there were no exploding barrels the ammo crates were their spiritual equivalent. Extremely handy for...
He was praising Kinect when it WAS revolutionary, and when it WAS cutting edge. And it was when first released.
I agree with him completely. 200 Million dollars and 4yrs to bring us Kinect 2.0, which is no different than the original Kenect!! That is a joke!
Don't get me wrong. On paper Kinect 2.0 is very impressive tech. The problem is that there is no practical use for it yet, or will there be in the near future.
What the hell MS was do...
^^^^^^^
So "Playstaion Now" basically?
If you are going to to that much processing server side, you might as well do the whole thing there and just stream to a remote client.
Splitting parts of the render pipeline between a server and a local processor is really not feasible for a "Real Time" graphics engine.
Much better to do elements that can be done "out of order" or "Asynchronously"...
Just more MS PR BS.
Show me an Xbox1 doing this IN GAME over an average consumer Internet connection......
They won't. Cause they can't.
Are the severs in the next room or are they doing this tech demo over the Internet?
Also. Do they have enough servers to provide this level of "Cloud Computing" power to every Xbox1 user? What happens to me here in Australia. Do I get that level of Cloud Computation?
Honestly, they (evolution) can take as long as they want.
I'm always happy to wait for a polished game rather than a rushed POS. It's nice to see a developer trying to push the envelope in terms of makes up a typical racing game.
I've offen wondered if the delay was because SONY wanted VR support to be included in the development. The same way polyphony delayed GT5 to include 3D support at launch?
@ati elite, aka the clown previously ranting about "PS4 being 50% more powerful than Xbox1 = lies".
How is your math.
COD
1080p = 2,073,600 pixels.
720p = 921,600 pixels.
125% more pixles. Much more than 50% performance advantage to the PS4.
BF4
900p = 1,440,000 pixels.
720p = 921,600 pixels.
56% more pixels. So again more than a 50% performance a...
The main reason being that current gen consoles (Xbox1, PS4) are going to be GPU bound in 99% of real world situations.
The claims of DX12 offering x2 performance gains have been in heavily CPU bound scenarios. And probably "tech demos" designed to best highlight these gains not gameplay performance gains.
No API update has ever offered x2 real world performance increases before. Mantle, the first "low level" PC API (and arguably the most...
Ok. I didn't feel the need to comment on this article. That was until I saw some d-bag xbots talking complete shit about the PS4's APU and it's "14+4" CU arrangement.
Are you people mentally retarded, or just like spreading lies?
This "14+4" CU was from a very early development slide from 2012. If we are to believe this then we also need to believe that the PS4 only has 4gb of GDDR5 and 4cpu cores running at 4ghz and a separate...
