diablo 2 rocked back in the day. WOW is full of elitist pr!cks who are all about 40 player, 3-4 hour dungeon raids or arena pvp addicts who take optimization to the point of lunacy.
You could solo dungeons in Diablo 2 and still get sweet loot without basing your life around the game. A campaign that ends suddenly and can be completed at approx level 25 when the level cap is 50 leads me to believe that there is still many more hours of gameplay they didn't ship in the preview copy.
...is crap. Please, keep garbage out of this thread. Whacked out physics, weak customization, and no car damage is very last gen. I'm surprised Sony had the nerve to release a beta version of a game slated for next year if we're lucky and charge money for it. I'm even more surprised that Sony fanboys will defend this move to tooth and nail.
Eurogamer has rated a few of the xbox 360's AAA titles pretty low also:

They're just a tough reviewer. It's not a conspiracy against the PS3. So what if they gave Halo 3 a high mark. It's a great game with a huge following. If anyone thinks otherwise then that is their opinion.

you people are morons if you think a couple in game conversations with ps3 references and product placement would keep this game from being a port. seriously, do you understand kojima productions is owned by konami? these people want to make money and they could sell probably two times the ammount of copies already sold if they just spent the little ammount of money to port this game. we all win. face it. you're playing the dreamcast of our generation. a good system but a failure.
i'm pretty sure mgs4 is coming to the 360 but I won't buy it either way. mgs is overrated. haven't liked it since mgs2.
it's small potatos compared to north america and europe. only reason anyone makes a big deal about it is to make sony feel better about their 1.3 billion dollar loss this year. sony stock is falling pretty hard these days.
plenty of copies of mgs4 sitting on the shelves at my local best buy.
xbox 360 has been out a year longer and it's still outselling the PS3. Unless it becomes a zombie then the 360 shouldn't have to kill it again.

GeOW 2 owns MGS4! It's not even funny. MGS4 has flat, undetailed, cartoony textures. The lighting in MGS4 is really one-dimensional and non-dynamic. Everything has a sort of painted on look to it. The more I look at it, the more I think that even the original GeOW has better graphics than MGS4. Here is a MGS4 screenshot vs GeOW2 comparison.

OK. Just to disprove you're point that there is "just more color" in the GeOW 2 shots, I'll poiint out something obvious. compare the concrete in both screenshots. If you can't see the abundantly more detail in the GeOW2 shot then I recommend you go see an optometrist or as you would say-- tough luck.
I think they're trying to show the effects of time on the landscape. maybe the statue was toppled at some point. I'd guess GeOW2 is set 5-10 years in the future, perhaps.
more color, more detail, better lighting, and less flat textures. Best looking game so far for the current generation of consoles. if they improve on the gameplay and story then I wouldn't be surprised if this is GOTY.

Ewwwwwwwwww. when will the supermachine PS3 learn to anti-alias? key-rist, my laptop can anti-alias with an outdated graphics card. PS3 is pretty ghetto and yet again inferior to the Xbox 360 just like the PS2 couldn't measure up to the original Xbox.
