The majority of the previews are positive. I can assure you that this game will get reviews in the 80's.

Mass Effect was published by Microsoft so it's not coming to the PS3.
You just know they never played it though. I played the demo three times and think it's a good game, probably not GOTY but a good game. This game is not a flop. it will get solid reviews in the 80's range like Ninja Gaiden 2.
Because of the mixed previews I wasn't expecting much but this demo pleasently surprised me.
sony is less that 10% shareholders in Square-Enix which means they can get out-voted pretty easily especially when the company is posting yearly losses.
What's the big deal with FF anyway? It's a good rpg series but hardly groundbreaking like a Fallout, KOTOR, or Mass Effect. So tired of listening to cryababy Sony fanboys about this title. Is there anyway the Xbox 360 fanbase can give back a title because we're sick of listening to the whining?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to Fable 2 and Too Human more than FF13.

Although FF13 looks good on the Xbox 360....right now I think that Fable has the potential to become a title on par with the Xbox 360 FF13 title.
It's an open world RPG from the British. When it comes to fantasy the British practically invented the genre. I am excited and looking forward to both Xbox 360 titles, Final Fantasy 13 and Fable 2.

Me, personally, I prefer western style Rpg's because they are typically more customizable and less linear.
I want to see some gameplay footage and hear possibly a release date. If the Japanese don't care about great video games then that is their cultural problem.

As an X360 fanboy, the thought of FF13 exclusively on the PS3 scared me. FF is like Mario, Halo, and Zelda. It's a phenomenon. I really thought it would end up an equalizer in the console war if it was exclusive to the PS3. I thought X360 would have to invent one more major AAA exclusive to pull it out. However, with news that FF13 is multiplatform.... I can confidently declare:

Xbox 360 - Silver
PS3 - Bronze

I think at one point Sony fandom results in loss of sanity. Like they have this track running in their head that says, "OMG. Sony 4ever."
I mean, let's face it: MGS4, possibly their biggest exclusive of this generation, sold 200K PS3S according to NPD. Halo 3 beat Halo 2 in sales. What happens when Halo 4 drops like a megaton? It's all over for Sony nation. FF13 is on the 360. All they have is God of War 3 and it can't compare to Halo.
All the polls and most of the analysts agree that Microsoft won this E3.
Sony is still introducing things on PSN that Microsoft had years ago while xbox live is still reinventing itself and innovating.
Sony introduced a couple of new games with no release date and were unable to show in-game footage or put on a demonstration. After their track record of cancelling games they announced at E3 it's very hard to trust that MAG or some of the other titles will even come out.

xbox live gold (the service you pay for) is to play ranked online multiplayer games and that's it.
almost all other xbox live services are free like PSN
