6% is a very big deal.
No doubt the gaming media is corrupt. Gamespot and IGN are just flat out abysmal to name just two. G4 is terrible too. Sessler and company may not be corrupt as they claim however they're just lousy critics who buy too much into hype and don't spend enough time with each game. Fable 2 GOTY? Roflcopter.

MSFT's market cap is 229.18 billion
MSFT's gaming division is a small part of MSFT. MS buying EA would be an expansion of their gaming division and is very possible.
yahoo is much bigger than EA

the art direction and epicness of Halo graphics is unmatched on consoles.
too many graphic nerds are dumbly obssessed with photo-realism to flex their epeen however it's not the end-all, be-all.
most great artists shun photo-realistic styles because it's generally bland. Halo 3 is still one of the best looking games out there because of it's great art direction and creativity.
the people who think it's low need to take a course on statistics.
