If a dev says there are no plans to develop a game for a console then the odds are there are really no plans to develop the game for it. Do you think that Square is so morally bankrupt that they would outright lie to the public?
those games are just the ones being published by M$..
there are other exclusives in 2008 like Left 4 Dead (the title I'm most excited about besides Gears of War 2) coming out on the 360 exclusively but they will be at the Valve booth. This is also the reason none of the exclusive JRPG's coming out in '08 are listed there.

the trailers don't say "exclusive to PS3" or "only for PS3". They simply say "For Playstation 3" at the end and were released in 2006, 2 years ago! 2 years before your console flopped like a fish out of water. It has never been announced that FF 13 will be a PS3 exclusive. A lot of Sony owners are just assuming it will be because the previous title was a Sony exclusive. However, history also tells us that Rare sold Nintendo down the river for Sony because of Sony's superior console base.

It's just a plain fact that the GPU is superior on the 360 and that is all this article is pointing out. I feel bad for Sony fanboys because it seems like they have some emotional attachment to a console. Like they sleep next to it at night and whisper sweet nothings in its ear.
PS I played uncharted and a bunch of 360 games look better than it or as good.
Not a big fan of JRPG's. They're too linear and your characters aren't customizable enough. The voice acting is generally pretty bad. The whole good vs evil without shades of gray reminds me of bad Hollywood movies. Also, the plots are typically overwrought.
I much prefer Western RPGs like Mass Effect, Fable, and World of Warcraft

Mgs 3 sold 3.7 million copies. for a console base in excess of 100 million. That 4%. Now get out your calculator and figure out what 4% of 12 million is. Not a lot.

You guys got some issues. Seek a counsellor. The 360 is still far ahead of the PS3 in sales whether you like it or not. So keep flapping your gums because you have no games to play. The PS3 has about the same chance of catching up to the 360 as the 360 has of catching up to the Wii. A very slim chance.

You do realize that the world will hardly stop even if, and that is a huge IF, MGS even manages to sell 1 million PS3's which by even the heartiest estimates it will not.
The Xbox still has great system selling titles coming out this year - Halo Wars and Gears of War 2. And some kick ass upcoming exclusive titles to keep us playing this year -- Left 4 dead, Too...

It is completely silly to have a long cutscene then a 15 second section where you actually do something and then another long cut scene. It's like they knew people would complain about 90 minute cut scenes so they interspersed brief action sequences. I am sure originally these brief action sequences were not in the game and they just put them there to avoid the, "OMG!11! 90 minute cutscene WTF?/?" reaction.
