Haze was a generic FPS and there are a ton of great FPS's so when an FPS is bad all of its flaws are exagerated two-fold.
This game is actually something original-- like space marines meets Diablo in a hack n slashing, loot collecting extravaganza. I expect this to get a metascore in the 80's. The combat is entertaining and being able to level up to 50 with scaling loot and enemy strength combined with the ability to co-op and select from 5 different classes makes this game hig...
Sure, the combat system is unconventional but it took me about 15 minutes to figure it out. First day purchase for me no matter what the critics say. I expect this game to get between an 8-9 out of 10.
What will Glados do when she finds out she is not in Portal: Still Alive? If I worked at Valve's studios then I would be a little nervous of incurring her wraith.
Do you really think Take-two wants to make less money by releasing their game exclusively on a third place console with a lower software attach rate? I mean I might be crazy but I think these guys want to make money and GTA4 sold 2 to 1 more on the X360.
Sony fanboys jumping to a conclusion that a game will be a PS3 exclusive despite an official announcement:

Major extra content for an awesome looking game is the suxxors! I would much rather have the version that doesn't get extra content. I think I'll buy a PS3 because I would hate to get extra content for an awesome game. That would really suck.
Of course it's a big deal to a Xbox 360 owner for them to announce simultaneous North America and Europe release of FF13 for the Xbox 360.
Before E3 X360 owners didn't think they would be able to play FF13 on their favorite system and were endlessly heckled by Sony fanboys.
After E3 we now know that FF13 will be released on our favorite system. For all intensive purposes it is a NEW game on the Xbox 360 announcement. My roommate was going to buy a PS3 when FF13 w...
Sony didn't show any new games. They showed a couple trailers with no release dates. Do you know how easy that is? As least Nintendo and Microsoft have enough integrity to not announce games that are still on the drawing board.
Especially the segment when they paid off, err I mean, asked a couple devs like Treyarch to essentially say the PS3 is not a weak system. Notice how none of the devs said anything like, "the PS3 is the most powerful system out there." or "the PS3 is as powerful as the 360." All they said was that the PS3 is capable of running their games. Whoopdie-doo!
The Sony keynote wasn't just underwhelming it was pathetic. So pathetic that Microsoft cancelled Bungie's b...

nice try, though.
oh wait, how many square-enix titles are coming exclusively to the 360 this year? oh yeah, TWO. how many are coming to the PS3? ZERO. NONE. ZILCH. NADA.
However, don't fret...I hear MAG is coming out in 2011. Oh boy, taht game looked lame....err, i mean exciting!
Bungie was going to announce a 700 player at once multiplayer shooter game with 100 squads of 7. Show a quick pre-rendered trailer. Tell everyone it's temporary name is BFOS (Big F$ckin Online Shooter). And call it an E3...but then OH SNAP! Sony dropped the megaton called MAG so now they're returning to Redmond with their tails between their legs.
Bungie had a great reputation before Halo and won a bunch of awards for games like Marathon, Myth, and Oni. They didn't just fall out of the sky and create Halo.
so they probably figured to hold onto this announcement for awhile.
Because they didn't show any cgi movies of games we'll see in 2 years.
Fanboys, it's time to start demanding accountability from your company.
Maybe Microsoft should one-up Sony tommorow and announce a game with 500 players multiplayer online, call it BOS (Big Online Shooter), show a quick CGI trailer, and call it an E3.
Sony showed a bunch of games that aren't coming out until late next year at the earliest and Sony fanboys eat it up. For example, DC Universe looked glitchy and like it would come out late next year at the earliest. Microsoft have Champions Online in development, a similiar superhero MMO by the developers of City of Heroes, but it's probably coming out next year so they didn't show it because they have a different policy about when and when not to show original IPs. You may have noticed that ...
Goes the same with MGS4. Sony has no financial links with Konami. MGS4 coming to the X360 is about as amazing as Bioshock going to the PS3.
seriously. you can level up to 50 and collect sweet gear. the game scales like diablo 2 in accordance with your level. meaning if you go through the same area at level 40 it will be more difficult with better loot than if you went through it at level 10.
I love how sony fanboys are so emo about their console and their supposed "exclusives" like FF13. emo enough to report this as lame and endlessly troll X360 threads. How bout this? you can have FF 13 back if you all promise to stop trolling X360 threads with your elitist "teh cell" and "teh blu-ray" comments.
I wonder what will happen when an inevitable MGS4 port to the X360 is announced. We'll have to put you guys on suicide watch.
Too Human is not dead! I just played the demo and it's pretty good, actually. The story is interesting, the hack n slash combat beats the hell out of turn-based combat, and the loot is pretty sweet. Plus, there are like 5 classes to pick from. I don't know why people were dissing this game and I'm a pretty harsh critic myself. I know I will be buying a copy.
Also, your list of games for the PS3 is looking way into the future and also doing a lot of speculation. Don't fall into ...
This game is pretty good. I was actually bummed when the demo ended because I never got to equip my lvl 7 sword I found... the gear in this game is pretty bad a$$.
you do not pay to have access to Xbox live's movie service. It comes with a free silver membership and it has many more movies than PSN.
yet again, comparing PSN to xbox live is silly at this point.
