fanboys need to chill out. you're embarrassing yourselves. be happy Killzone got mostly good reviews and stop whining.
Stop crying. This happens to a lot of games--
Gamecritics gave Halo 3 (meta: 94) a 70
Netjak gave Mass Effect (meta: 91) a 54 (!!!). Also, Edge gave Mass Effect a 70.
Game Positive gave Fable 2 (meta 89) a 63 (!!!).
Halo Wars got a 70 from Edge too and the demo is pretty sweet. you don't see the internets alive with 360 fanboys having a hissy fit.
All of those review sites I listed are generally useless so it's best just to igno...
5 - Quake 3 (a classic)
4 - Halo series
3 - Half-Life series
2 - COD4
1 - Counterstrike 1.6 (yeah, I kick it old school. bad graphics but balanced gameplay. the AK-47 on counterstrike puts the COD4 Ak47 to shame)

Japan is one country. PS3/X360 games probably sell more in California let alone what they sell in the rest of North America compared to Japan. Japan is too busy with the Wii and handhelds to really support their own native JRPG developers substantially.
This is the reason Square chose the X360 over the PS3 to release Star Ocean 4. There is a much bigger 360 console base in NA/Europe. Sure, they'd like SO4 to catch on like hot fire in Japan but if it doesn't then they always have ...
a) just think of what you just said.
b) he retired from MS to pursue charity so he has little control over how the company is run now.
Even during his MS days Bill Gates was the #1 philanthropist in the world and contributed the most money to charities of anyone. Also, in his will some obscenely high percentage of his money goes to charities when he dies. His kids are sort of getting the shaft. oh well, they'll have to earn it like everyone else.
the multiplayer is awesome but the wait between is unacceptable sometimes. of course I haven't played in awhile so maybe it got better.
I think they should just drop this whole ranked matchmaking system and throw everyone in together like COD4 does. It's fast and efficient and if your face gets owned then you learn to play better quicker. Or maybe do something like Counter-strike where you can chose what map to play and which people to play it with and stay with those people. Gah...
"Square Enix lists the game at about 40 hours, but I'm nearing the 20 hour mark and have only just finished the first disc. There is no shortage of things to do and I have barely even dug into the side quests yet."
Nice.
Keep posting this trash it's not going to change anything. It is heavily advertised that the X360 has a 3 year warranty. I've had my X360 for a year and a half and nothing bad has happened. It still runs great. On the flip side, everyone I know who has experienced RROD bought a launch model.
And you know what? those people sent their consoles back to MS and they were fixed free of charge. None of them bought a PS3 instead. They still prefer the Xbox 360 for the Xbox live communit...
software can harm your hardware, but very rarely can it crash your own system, ruin your chipset and make you console over-heat. RROD is a very specific hardware issue caused by the chipset and the cooling mechanism.
Do you really think this writer researched this or did any kind of objective analysis anyway? the guy writes a RROD returns article on a monthly basis. look at those headlines and I only went back a couple weeks for brevity.
A software update can't cause RROD! RROD is a hardware issue. Most recent headlines from the person who wrote this article, Mike "Sony Fanboy" Frerro, I shall dub this loser from here on in:
Xbox 360 RRoD returns - issue getting out of hand?

here is a link to same report right from the EA.com website so you know it's not a photoshop deal.

Overall, the Xbox 360 is EA's #1 breadwinner by a sizable margin compared to all other consoles. Basically, if MS wants one game out of EA's library to be exclusive then it will be exc...
also, notice that Sony never releases worldwide console sales numbers either. My guess is they've sold less than what the tracking agencies are giving them credit for.
Sony has a lot to hide. They're in worse trouble than they're letting on.
Oh yeah, right now Halo 3 is selling about the same ammount worldwide from month to month as Resistance 2 and Halo 3 has been out one and a half years.
Tales of Vesperia - 86%
Lost Odyssey - 85%
Last Remnant - 79%
Infinite Undiscovery - 80%
Blue Dragon - 84%
Mass Effect - 90%
Fable 2 - 91%
Too Human - 66%
Fallout 3 - 95%
They're usually pretty dead on. Although, Mass Effect is better than Fable 2 and deserves a 95%. Fable 2 should be something like 88% just because the end boss was a joke and the ending altogether was sort of meh in my opinion. Fallout 3 is over-rated but RPGfan se...
It's better than TOV.
"The JRPG lineup on the 360 is certainly 'full', but not 'satisfying'. If Star Ocean turns out to be a dud, my sole reason for purchasing a 360 (JRPGs) is basically moot."
LO is the best next-gen, straight up JRPG out there and it's developer Mistwalker is financially backed by Microsoft. LO was also successful and has sold the most worldwide of any HD JRPG so far this gen. You don't think Mistwalker is working on a sequel or new IP as we speak? MS is not just giving up...
I'm just hoping to wtfpwn some Halo kiddies with my superior strategy. Your amazing twitch reflexes won't help you here, kiddies!
But you have to hand it to Nintendo for essentially selling their gaming soul and making a ton of money. Nintendo has been trying these gimmicks since the NES. Remember the useless robot it came with at launch in North America, then the light gun, then the freaking power-pad? None of that crap caught on for Nintendo until the Wii. They sure were tenacious and it paid off. I hope they don't ruin the recession gaming market with all the third-party devs turning out Wii shovelware to pay the bil...
"In the demo you can play through the aforementioned campaign levels or skirmish against an AI opponent. While it is fun, my beef is the great disparity between difficulty levels: “normal” mode is way too easy and “heroic” kicks my ass every time! "
I beat It on Heroic mode my first attempt. I'm hoping there will be another level of difficulty in the full version because I didn't think Heroic mode was difficult enough.
