No way do I want Kojima writing Halo 4. Halo has a good cut-scene/action ratio as it is and it's plot actually makes sense...sort of. Plus it's not Kojima himself who is part of the team. Just other ex-member(s) of his production team.

What else do we have to gauge the success of a game if it's not the critcs or sales? a bunch of fanboys on N4G? Nah, no thanks, I'll go with the professional critics and gamers worldwide. Halo 3 is king. The only thing Halo 4 has to top is Halo 3.

And Halo is Halo: CE, Halo 2 (which is still played a ton but we don't have stats), and Halo 3.
You should be impressed by Halo 3's multiplayer numbers if you hold CS as some sort of holy grail.
there aren't any official counterstrike numbers over its lifetime. however, there have been more unique players playing Halo 3 than Counter-strike on a daily basis for a long while now.

agreed. I loved how the author just glossed over Forge, co-op, and the variety of Halo 3's multiplayer maps as if it's no big deal in regards to re-playability and extras. yeah, one author thinks KZ2 is better and gave really vague, completely subjective reasons so it must be true. Wow, Halo 3 only sold 9 million and is still the #2 most played game on Xbox live and sometimes takes the #1 spot after 2 years. I'm sure Bungie is shaking in their boots!

Left 4 Dead pretty much flushes Dead Rising down the toilet. Once you play Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising just seems easy and lame.
