Most of Orion's objections to VR sound like a paranoia problem to me. The only really valid point is what he said about grabbing a drink or food, but spill proof cups are available and reaching into a bag of chips without looking is something I know I do already.

Most gamers don't stream so VR won't be negatively impacted by that at all.

"most gamers stream their games and faces."

Most do, but most don't really need to. Anyway, most gamers don't stream so I don't know why it would be a factor.

VR will have an uphill battle because the peripheral will be too expensive for many and because the supported games may or may not make the extra expense worthwhile, not because of streaming.

1 reason why I game on console instead of PC :

I've tried PC gaming more than once in my gaming years, and I prefer console gaming.

If you play all the games then it's possible you'll like the first two better than the later ones, and if so that would make FO4 not that big a deal. I'll wait on the GotY edition for that very reason. It's a big deal for a lot of people though, for sure.

I thought Eve: Valkyrie was announced to be a PSVR launch title...

I'd say the one with more new games to play, not to mention more high rated games.

PS4, by that criteria.

Wild is my most anticipated game right now, but Horizon does look extremely cool as well. Tomorrow Children, No Man's Sky, and Detroit are others that leap to mind, besides the obvious... Uncharted 4. I know there are others I'm not thinking of at the moment. I'm really enjoying this generation already, and there's so much more to come.

I look forward to checking it out, along with H1Z1. Hopefully we'll get console news about the latter as well before too long.

Bloodborne is the easy choice for me, unless Fallout 4 is very different from FO3. Being a big Elder Scrolls fan I thought I'd love FO3, but I didn't for some reason.

"This guy said Gran Turismo isn't a system seller loool. I don't know why I keep coming here."

You answered your own question… "loool"

N4G is for the laughs.

There are lots of "loool" worthy comments in this thread alone. PS4 domination isn't sitting well with some folks.

Regardless of the definition of "indie", what Triangle said is incorrect anyway because he implies that PS4 doesn't have more "big" games to play as well as more "small" games. PS4 has more games, large and small.

Fallout 3 was one of the most overrated games last generation, in my opinion. No game is for everyone.

"you don't deserve to play this game."

First of all, that's silly. Secondly, why would he care if he doesn't have much interest in the game?

OT - I just hope this Fallout is more like the originals in some ways. For me, Wasteland 2 is a better Fallout game than FO3 and NV were. Because of those last two, this new one is...

"i'm not talking about free2play games, those are not real games"

Ridiculous.

OT - Is this game like Battleborn? Watching a few videos made me think it might be, but this looks like more fun than Battleborn to me for some reason.

Halo is a juggernaut for XB fans, and that's about it.

"here i was thinking that it was call of duty that made Xbox a dude bro console"

You were wrong. It happens. "Dudebro" was never just about CoD. No goalpost moving required. If anyone is moving goalposts in this conversation it's you, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were simply incorrect in your thinking.

OT - It's safe to say that the audience for any genre is moving to your console when it's domi...

That's two more old games than I played on my PS3. I still owned both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus at the time, but I didn't play them again until I bought the HD collection. Same thing happened with PS2. I still owned a bunch of my favorite PS1 games but never played them.

I can see how BC would be great for some people at the beginning of a generation when there aren't many new games to play yet, but this far in I don't see it being much of a factor and th...

"everyone thought Xbox couldn't fail last gen"

Not really. PS3 was outselling 360 pretty consistently from the moment it launched, so it was almost inevitable that PS3 would eventually wind up in 2nd place, especially given how long the generation lasted.

360 kept it's lead for so long because of it's lower price for much of the generation, early multi plat performance advantage, and the "buy what your friends have" factor. All...

I agree. The game itself may be incredible, but this information alone doesn't wow me. It seems kinda small, in fact.

Good read.

After being very intrigued by last year's video, this year's gameplay reveal has made Wild one of my most anticipated games.
