Be careful what you ask for.
It would be funny if MS did announce what you suggest though, after telling us sales aren't their focus and not revealing sales numbers any more. If XB1 had won Black Friday in a major way I'd say it was possible, but that's not what happened. XB1 didn't even win, much less in a major way, and that's probably why Pachter is saying this now.
It's his money so he can do what he wants. I don't think we needed an article about how he ruined his own game though.
It's like having a headline that says "Goodyear Tires May Suddenly Go Flat" and then reading about the writer stabbing his own tires with a pocket knife.
Did you guys read the article you're defending?
He ruined his own game and then wrote an article about it, using a vague headline to… yes… get clicks.
Nope. I played a lot of fun games this year. If originality is your unit of measure for judging a game, you won't play very many. You also won't read many books or watch many movies if they are ranked the same way.
Very interested!
XB1 will hit 20 million when PS4 is around 40 million. Neither will happen this year.
Maybe he's being honest but the game I'm playing doesn't have horrible gameplay. He must not have played many games if he honestly thinks that.
The Order was easily a bigger critical bust. I enjoyed the game, but it's true.
Phantom Menace was no more hollow than the first three Star Wars movies. What ruined PM was Jar Jar and that kid.
The first three SW movies didn't have deep, original stories. They had characters people liked played by actors who didn't ruin them.
Fallout 4 is an rpg. Stop saying it isn't. Can't believe you compared it with Far Cry and Crysis. O.o
Bloodborne is easily my GotY though.
Fallout 3 wasn't the Fallout fans fell in love with either. The series changed drastically with FO3.
This game is more like the original Rainbow 6s than the newer games with that name have been...
"much more content"?
No they didn't. They had more of some things and less of others.
Edit - Oops this was meant to be a reply to PaulKersey.
I was very interested in that game, but yeah it got cancelled. I keep hoping to hear that it's been resurrected though.
It's just the usual names saying the usual things. Black Friday didn't go as they wanted so they're blowing off steam.
"if you seriously think the Order is a better game than Rise of the Tomb Raider then you cant be helped."
If you seriously think that's true then you have an overly inflated view of your own opinion. There are people who honestly like games that you don't. Why is that hard to understand?
"Thoroughly rubbish? Is that a factual statement, or one based entirely on opinion?"
I think some people can't tell the difference.
"meh game still sucked"
I enjoyed it. Loaned it to a friend, and he enjoyed it.
*shrug*
I don't play them alone, but they're fun with a friend. I prefer the competitive multiplayer.
"So is it far cry 4.5 or a new iP with far cry skin?"
Whichever sounds more doom and gloomy.
