I am so glad studios like this are still around in this blockbuster, money grabbing, cheap and plastic world we live in to remind us all about what really matters.
Team Ico deliver experiences.
and someone has left blur on the whole time too. Yuk!
Give me GT5 now!

That's like saying Microsoft 4x more in America. Of course they do.... oh.
Although it is a good effect as such, I am not sure I like the idea of games simulating camera effects as they are imperfections of that style of media and do not have to be part of any computer 'simulation' of real life.
My eyes naturally take a few tenths to adjust going from dark to light so the game need only show those light changes and the effect would mirror real life.
Exaggerating the effect will only serve to make the whole thing a less reali...
Really violent and weighty physical movement!
Who needs playtesters when you can have the Youtube community deliver them to your doorstep ;)
Sorry, just to clear up, I mean a projector, projecting onto a 125" surface like a movie theatre not a rear projection television.
I am running a 125" projector setup but would drop it in an instant for your Plasma (well, maybe keep both). Still the best screen my eyes have seen by quite a way.
With a name like Nukem, you can bet he leaves behind a pretty big hole.
;)
Of all the people lucky enough to end up at the show, we end up with this unfunny and lethargic zombie who is wasting time filming something she clearly does not like only to show it to people that do! Tard and Feathered.
Of course, all the fake laughs in the world can't hide the fact that she would struggle to actually find 3 other 'friends' to play it with her.
Did you notice the Chicken stats? Evil-strong on group ability!
Are you saying you would like it to kill you instead, wiping all your savegame and taking you back to the games title screen? Because any other conclusion to such an incident (such as a dented panel) could hardly be described as being, 'more realistic' can it?
How slow it feels in of no consequence. It is moving at the speed shown on the speedo. If you view the game in the air behind the car it will feel slower than setting the camera 1 foot off the ground though.
I really hope Kaz does not speed things up to unrealistic settings to satisfy physics-challanged consumers greed for 'wipeout mode' which has happened in the past. If that silly-version hits here, I am buying the Japanese version.
I really like some of the replay camera angles and the actual motion of the cameras. Really makes the whole thing seem much more real. Very impressive.
I think that this proves how little screenshots alone work in providing a total picture of graphics and engine prowess.
Leave both actually running side by side instead and then see what happens. Rage would look the same as the still but KZ would come alive! X,Y and Z would be awash with non-repetative analogue goodness including realistic dust, wind, smoke and cloth etc, making the scene come to life. One is a moving photo, the other a live scene.
Or you could ...
They could have used infra red lights I suppose.... but then you wanna have the lights to freak your neighbours out;)
Yeah! I overlooked that! Have bubbles!
Exclamation mark!
A while ago, I saw an interview that mentioned something that was going to be announced that was said to "make everyone want to go and download all the old costumes" and have been wondering ever since.
On the messages under the video, Mick Perona mentions that "Depending on what costumes you have on, the “heft” of the helmet, or costume, etc you might be wearing – directly impacts the “physics” of your jumps (how high you can go, the way you might twist and twirl ...
I don't really think anyone is 'Hardcore' when you consider our own lag and just how quick 150ms is..

Within a year it is possible that pretty much every new TV is '3D Ready' and all you need is the 'Transmitter and Glasses pack' to experience it.
That way, a whole new generation of buyers will all have the capability. Either you buy the glasses pack or you don't.
I have already got all the TV's I need for a while but there will be some 32 monitors that work with the PS3 at some point and I may go that way and just sit closer :)
O M G!
Really good video!
