Where did the author make the argument as to why video game movies are unsuccessful? All I read were a few points as to why the author thinks video games are more entertaining than movies in general. This reminds me something I might have written in high school just to meet an assignment requirement. The only difference is it would have featured a title that actually matches the content. Anyone can be an author on the internet folks.

Can you imagine how poorly the Series S will age in about 2 years?

This is exactly why it was invented. A low cost Game Pass machine. Nothing more and nothing less.

I wish they would. Not only does the S hold the X back, but it holds PS5 3rd party back as well. I would be very happy if they threw this sku in the dumpster, but I do not see how they can considering customers who purchased this should be entitled to support for most if not all of the generation. I like both the X and the PS5, but I have never liked the S from the day it was introduced. It was obvious from day one that this would be a ball and chain holding back true next gen gaming.

LG OLED have supported DV longer than that. My B6 and C8 both have DV.

I am with you. I have played this game with similar graphics so many times. The actual animation turtles in game would give me a reason to buy. Actual animation graphics are something I never thought possible as a child and would love to see the Turtles given this treatment.

The Duke was indeed a monster.

My greatest memories of the controller itself is how the joystick would rip the skin on the palm of my hands while trying to quickly rotate during extended Mario Party sessions. Was very painful, but I powered through because the game was awesome.

Agreed. While the controller definitely has its problems it is easy to forget that we were entering an entirely new era of 3D gaming. It was innovative and trial by error as manufacturers and developers were learning how to build the future of gaming. This was the beginning of a whole new world, and without controllers like the N64 controller to build upon, we do not have the controllers of today.

It is not hate, it just doesn't make any sense. How do you character create a transgender character? Doesn't a transgender male identify as a male? In other words, if I use the character creator to create a male, wouldn't that be already be a transgender male if they identify as such? In this character creator do we actually apply and XX chromosome or digital vagina to the character and then make them appear to be male or vice versa?

It just doesn't make sen...

Why?

There used to be Bible games for the NES when I was a kid you could get free or for really cheap. Some were decent and others were very poorly executed. Nevertheless, we got to play as Moses, Noah, etc., but never the man himself!

This project has been terribly mismanaged. While I know the development team at 343 has been shaken up recently, I sometimes wonder how certain people within the Xbox division stay employed.

Agreed. I did like the return to the Halo combat formula. While watching I thought, “this feels like Halo.” Then they demonstrated the over the top speech at the end and the positive feeling melted away.

I think the demo was so underwhelming because you can easily tell that the game was developed to the spec of the Xbox One and then they made the ingenious decision to demonstrate the game at a Series X showcase. One of the first glimpses of what the “World’s Most Powerful Console” can do. Easy to see that would lead to disappointment. Well easy to see except by anyone in the Xbox Division.

I see many here undersell ray tracing. I think it is a game changer when done well and is the main thing that has stood out to me as a next gen feature on the new consoles.

It’s something I never really knew I wanted until I seen it done in Spider Man and a few other titles. That said, I am glad many developers are now providing options. The enjoyment of any feature over another is clearly subjective.

The rants were the best part of this entire game. Other than that, there just wasn't much to get excited about.

Agreed on both accounts. I’m not into micro transactions or FTP so I doubt I will be spending much time with this. Especially considering all the expectedly great PS exclusives that are listed for release in 2021.

It’s a fun little arcade style game, but I am really glad they did not go the $70 route. Would be a let down at that price imo.

Investing in old tech is not usually a great decision. My opinion is to just be patient. PS5 will be in stock soon enough.
