I have 7.1 and while the audio sounds amazing I cannot tell for certain if it is better than other titles on my PS4. I am not saying it doesn’t sound better. Only that I am not an expert in audio.

It is a cross-gen title. Of course the S isn’t going to hold anything back in this case. The lowest common denominator is the X-One and PS4.

Played through this game twice and got a platinum. Not a very good difficulty ranking imo. So much so that it made me wonder how much time the author spent with the game. Even though Pride and Joy comes after Bahamut, I find Bahamut to be a considerably tougher fight. Rude by himself is somehow harder than Reno and Rude combined. Ha! It is funny because I found Johnny Cage to be the most out of place of all the rankings as well. Not sure why, but I just never really appreciated Johnny Cage. Maybe because I never really enjoyed using him. IDK. Would have ranked Goro a bit higher, but overall a good list.

@Aggesan I payed $74.99 for the SNES port of Street Fighter 2 at Toys R Us upon release in the US. I remember vividly because I was a kid and it took every penny I had earned through chores and work around the neighborhood etc.
I have to OG Xbox emulation rigs loaded with roms. Purchased my first one in 2003 and a second in 2004 (when I was single.) To this day they are a staple of mine and my families gaming experience with one being hooked up in the theater room/man cave and the other in the bedroom. They still work great and we really enjoy them.

If it were news about moving Series X consoles and/or PS5 consoles I would be very happy about it. However, when the news pertains to moving the albatross to next gen that is the Series S I have my concerns.
I am ready to truly move into gen 9 and not be stuck for another 5 to 7 years in gen 8 due to an underpowered cheap console that was only designed to sell GamePass subscriptions. Gen 8 lasted long enough as it was.
100% agreed. I will take it a step further and say I prefer maximum fidelity and higher quality assets at 30fps when compared to lower quality assets at 60fps. However, I am happy that those who appreciate 60fps over higher quality assets have the choice to make the sacrifice. More options for gamers is always better as preferences will always differ in the gaming community.

I remember a day when 480p (DVD quality) was revolutionary and praised. Now anything below 1440p is nearly unacceptable. That darn goal post. Can’t imagine why it would ever move in the world of tech. 🤔
Can't wait to install the PS4 version on my PS5 then transfer my save files that probably are not uploaded to the cloud properly. Then install the PS5 version and delete the PS4 version and hope that it is all there in the end.

Where did the author make the argument as to why video game movies are unsuccessful? All I read were a few points as to why the author thinks video games are more entertaining than movies in general. This reminds me something I might have written in high school just to meet an assignment requirement. The only difference is it would have featured a title that actually matches the content. Anyone can be an author on the internet folks.
Would be better as a next-gen exclusive that is not shackled by the now archaic tech that is the X-One. The added horsepower would do a lot to ease the burden of an overly ambitious game.
