You know, maybe I'm just weird but I always loved Sonic 3 & Knuckles a tad more than 2. As far as greatest games, it would be really tough for me to narrow it down to a top three, but I know among the list would be games like Killer7, Brutal Legend, Resident Evil 4 and Portal 2.
Jeez. I guess the summer drought truly has begun? It's kind of weird actually, wasn't there a post just last night saying Nintendo software sales had reason by over 50%? Amazing to see a figure like this after that.
Let's not go overboard, man. No console is perfect and the Wii U certainly isn't. But it's designed for something in particular and it does it quite well; mixing HD graphics with touch based dual-screen gameplay.
Whether or not people are interested in that is debatable, but I think it's pretty undeniable that the Wii U is excellent for what it was meant to do.
Are you and MasterCornholio normally this butthurt or is it just because N4G isn't singing of Nintendo's demise today?
"I get on your case the odd time because you always reply to mostly everyone on Nintendo articles, bash their opinion when they are offering some criticism in a non trollish way because you love to be Nintendos White Knight"
Ha, you're such a lying POS. XD
"that's why, it gets tiering seeing you...
It's not always a matter of bitterness. Sometimes the console simply doesn't fit the model. It's like asking "Why do some developers not make games on PCs/consoles?" Sometimes it's a matter of what works best for them.
With many of the developers not engaging with Wii U, it could be a combination of things; a fear that their games will not sell, the install base is not large enough or some are just put off by the hardware itself.

Considering the amount of Wii U games to be shown at E3, my answer is no.
Out of curiosity, do you have the original game? You'd be saving ten bucks if you got it digitally through NSMBU.
Hey buddy? Considering the multitudes of times you've gotten on my case for no reason, you really shouldn't be playing the victim card right now.
You called her a b**** and said you "can't stand" her! How am I supposed to interpret that exactly? That you feel she's a misunderstood actor and you're actually throwing internet roses at her?
Okay fine, you clarified the context but you still could have worded yourself a LOT better, c...
It's a new Mario, a new Mario Kart, a new Zelda and a new Smash Bros. all separate from Wind Waker HD and New Super Luigi U. Got it now?
You know, I should have figured you'd be complaining about something nearly unrelated to the topic at hand again.
Valorie Curry has been in some productions I certainly wouldn't call even decent, but she was a-freaking-mazing in the Kara demo. She's a good actor who has been in some bad movies and that's not entirely her fault. Cut her some slack; she's young and probably has a long career ahead of her.
@LOL_WUT
And where the hell is your confirmation that that wasn't the case? You have no more proof than anyone as to whether or not it was the Origin issue. A rumor is more proof than you sticking your fingers in your ears and going "NOPE!"
But it's okay, you can keep spouting your unproven fallacies. It's not like you're fooling anyone. ;)
Don't forget all they do is casual gimmicks and they need to make more M rated games!
Good. I want 'em. 'Nuff said.
Wrong. News outlets usually post the things Nintendo does in their Direct conferences. It's reaching many people who are into games, not just fans.
It would probably have to. I don't see the Wii U as a failure the way many N4G users seem to, but I don't see Nintendo trying to do "the Wii thing" with their next console.
Welp, I guess I'll be visiting Best Buy a lot more come summer time.
Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed sold best on Wii U. According to Digital Foundry it also performed best on Wii U when not counting PC.
@Root
My guess is they figured everyone will focus on Sony/Microsoft during the E3 press conference and the Nintendo Direct system would be more effective in spreading awareness about their games. Keeping their own "conference" completely separate from the others could be as effective as it could be detrimental.
Keep in mind, they still have a booth and will have playable demos there. So we'll still see news outlets posting "Hands-on impres...
Earlier this year Iwata confirmed we're only getting screenshots of Smash Bros. at E3. However they also confirmed that 3D Mario and Mario Kart will not only be shown, but playable at their booth.
"my god, why do these articles even exist?"
Hits and clicks.
