In the end it's probably just PR nonsense. They probably just don't care, so they're making up excuses as to why they won't do it.
Clearly you're the one who is out of touch if you call the Wii U a last gen console and say that Sega has no money right now.
To be fair, different developers handle their work in different ways. Precursor has many of the employees of Silicon Knights and they used to work for Nintendo and used the same kind of structured tech and assets.
HA! I see what you did there. Bubble up for hilariousness.
"Well said" for proper context.
I wonder if the main character will look like Tameem...
I believe Apollo means he wants to know about the total sales for Wii U in May since the recent development involving the Xbox One caused its sales to skyrocket (at least with Amazon UK).
Just throwing this out there, this may or may not be fake. If you have an XBL account, definitely change your password just to be safe until we have a definitive word from Microsoft.
Considering the response, I think you have your answer. The community does feel it matters. Earthbound could be a heavy hitter for core gamers and Wii U if handled well enough.
Though if you did want to imply it did not matter, you probably should have handled your question with a little more tact.
Coming from the same guys who gave us SimCity? Oh, I'm sure it'll be perfectly fine! /s
That's... rather difficult to take in. Like wow. If there was ever a face to describe this, it would be this one. O_O
I guess what people have been saying really holds a lot of water. The poor performance of Microsoft's PR and their XB1 conference was so terrible that it's now made Wii U a much stronger contender in the race.
EDIT: Honest question, how the hell is it that Microsoft just sold the Wii U better than Nintendo did?
Hope they offer a transfer between consoles like with the 3DS.
I may not agree with everything Rein says or does, but I'll take this answer over more of EA's PR hype bullcrap. I mostly play consoles and even I know that console tech can't necessarily outmatch PC tech. Console tech is PC derivative for goodness' sake!
No monopolies. Multiple firms need to be successful for the industry to keep growing.
Cool story bro.
True facts. Hope people get this info and spread it further.
Same question, same answer; no. No real reason for it. Nintendo profits off of consoles, even when they don't sell record numbers.
Certainly not me! But I don't mind; like with any fierce rivalry, a greatest adversary can become your strongest (and strangest) ally.
Considering Sega's track record is similar to Nintendo's with software content (though with a little more edge to it) this is a match made in heaven if you ask me.
Never thought I'd see a comment like this from you (or anyone else on here, frankly). But then I never thought a bad Nextbox conference/news flush was possible either.
I won't support a console with a universal block on used games. PS4 and Wii U for me.
