I don't agree. I absolutely loved Mass Attack, Epic Yarn and Return to Dreamland. They were wonderfully made games, if only brief ones. Epic Yarn had the new world, Mass Attack was unbearably cute and Return had the awesome coop. If you haven't tried these games, give them a swing soon!
Hopefully they'll fix the recent bug I received where the browser cannot load anything when searching something on Google.
@Shock
To be fair, rumors have suggested that the WiiU will be more powerful than the PS3 (which was technically more powerful than the 360, just difficult to develop for). The question is by how much.
Some have said not a great deal and others have said the amount is significant. So no matter what, it WILL be better than what we have out now.
I truly think core gamers should at least TRY the Wii U before they judge it.
Weren't there provisions in the NDAA bill that needed to get through?
Also wasn't the portion involving citizen detention added after the President signed it into law?
Throw in some wifi play in any of the multiplayer-centric ones and we're gold.
It's not a totally unethical idea. I simply don't have the money for a Vita. Sadly since it's not backwards compatible (or at least properly) I will hold off on buying any UMDs.
Metroid Other M is the best Metroid yet? Seriously?
Perhaps I'll be chewed out for saying it, but Destructoid recently did a preview of the WiiU controller and they had nothing but good things to say about it.
I hope people take the time to actually try this thing out before they judge it. It's not unlike when the Wii first came out and everyone was like "Who can play games with THAT thing?!"
I would like to help you chill out.
Puh, three disagrees for stating the truth. NEXT.
What they ought to do for those Wii users is send them messages through the Wii telling them they can upgrade to a newer, better experience. Sometimes raising awareness is all it takes.
Lucky sons of guns. I want one now. :(
Link please.
Don't bother with it. I remember reading numerous times that WiiU would support SD cards AND HDDs. In fact, here's an article to prove it. http://www.warpzoned.com/?p...
Forget the nay-sayers; stick to the facts I say.
Nintendo is smart enough to know that the average home has more than one entertainment device in their home at this point. You can buy a DVD player for less than $50 in a local Wal-mart. Why the hell would they ever go out and buy a WiiU for a supposed $350+ with a DVD player in mind?
No, you're getting HD Nintendo gaming with an abundance of control options, online connectivity, playing games on the controller without disturbing others, streaming, possible e-reading and ...
@Tanir
Can you and people like you cut that out? The final specs have yet to be revealed. As for movie viewing, Nintendo has a good relationship with Netflix and damn near everything else plays DVD/Bluray. It requires neither. Do you seriously want them to charge you $600 for this thing?
Also it was confirmed a long-ass time ago that you had the option of using SD cards and external HDD. So please, enough with the untruths.
Actually it might be the bit about "crunch time." Since the stories involving Team Bondi, I think Nintendo would not let people have the idea that Retro might be undertaking impossible crunch time hours.
Or they're just being oversensitive. Either way, there is very little here to be mad at. Can't wait to see what these masters are working on now.
The iPhone is a fraction of the size of that thing and has a GB of RAM. The PS3 had 512 MB of RAM.
That's like saying a 3DS is no good because it has DS in the name and two screens. Have you held the controller in your hands? Have you played a WiiU game? Shouldn't that moment where you have the controller in your hands and having a gaming experience be the real deciding factor?
Is it a bad time for me to say that I fucking hate Konami for this right now?
