Gamers on the internet tend to be rather fickle. We really should wait until E3 or an official announcement from Nintendo or one of their development teams (though the latter is pretty unlikely).
Yeah, no.
Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Mario Strikers Charged, Mario Kart Wii, Zelda TP and SS, a plethora of Kirby games, No More Heroes 1 and 2, Mad House, Smash Bros., House of the Dead and two Mario Galaxy titles make for some nice core action.
I agree. I like Resident Evil's current direction. Not everything needs to be the franchise it once was. I prefer the over the shoulder view and just all of the awesome ways you can kill the enemy.
Though for the sake of fanservice, a little creepiness here and there wouldn't hurt. A dark, claustrophobic hallway with some creepy music and some loud breathing noises. Then BOOM; you're getting your face pummeled by a Regenerator. It's not needed like the article...
Okay, I don't care how much of a fanboy you are; no console is worth $600, especially one that started with so few games.
From a sales and time standpoint, Nintendo certainly are winners. They are the longest major surviving console manufacturer and their Wii was a major financial success, as were every handheld device in Nintendo's arsenal (notice I say handheld, not portable, so Virtual Boy doesn't count).
@Megaman_nerd
That doesn't make it a failure, you goober. That simply means they had to lower the price to get it to start selling. It's a long standing fact that console manufacturers tend to make the bulk of their profits from software, not hardware. May I point you to Zelda 3D, Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land which all sold quite well.
You can't know. It's not out yet! :P
People had doubts about the Wii. Let's wait and see until E3 has come and gone. THEN we should start making predictions.
Every console starts off slowly. That argument did not faze the 360 and PS3 in the long run.
Err, Twisted Pixel? Retro Studios? United Front Games?
Come on, dude.
I imagine the controller would. It has a headphone jack, suspiciously in the same middle position as the one for the 3DS.
@Lul_Boat
A lot of good all that tech did for the PS3 (assuming you're being honest). Being it's so difficult to develop for, games wound up being developed around the 360 first.
CoD's not the only game with coop.
They'll avoid it for sure. They have already acknowledged the 3DS slow start and have said they won't let that happen a second time with the Wii U.
Plus I think we've moved past the era of major console failures. Seriously, the PS3 had a really rough start and so did the 3DS. They're both major successes now. I strongly feel the Wii U will be no different.
@Colwyn
I know you're just trolling to piss off Nintendo fans, but seriously WHERE do you find the time to type all of this crap?
Losing fans? The heck are you talking about? Going to Gametrailers, IGN or any other major gaming media outlet that presented the trailer and looking at the comments showcases a shit ton of hype and support for RE6.
I've played RE 1, 3, 4 and 5. I loved 4, liked 3 and 5 and hate the first one (though I enjoyed the GCN remake). To me, scares are not what made Resident Evil fun; the gameplay, characters and story are.
I think RE scared us more at a younger age. The fans grew up and grew less scared in succession. I think this is Capcom showing that they want the franchise to evolve, not stay in the same hole in which Megaman is currently rotting.
I think Nintendo went form 1 tablet controller to "at least two." Which is fine enough I suppose. I'll be the only one in my house using mine. Works in my favor given that I can only imagine how much one of those friggin' controllers must be worth.
Hold on, you're going to invest in a rip-off product with next to no merit or chance of success outside of China?
Thank you. Finally someone says it. *dramatic clap*
