The article is contradictory to an earlier article I read that suggested that Unreal Engine 4 could be down-scaled for Wii U. I'll give you the link before you call BS.

Also, I read the article and this appears to be taken out of context. Epic said that the intended consoles have not been announced. This can go the way you be...
@InTheLab
Yeah, the fact that two Mario games that sold over a million units in the span of a month or two had nothing to do with the 3DS' sales boost. /sarcasm
Also the 3DS had its price drop at precisely the right time. It doesn't matter how cheap your hardware is; if you're catering to gamers, it needs games on it.
Wait for E3?
No, I think they said they were interested and that Crysis 3 would not be on Wii U.
I hate to admit it, but even this kind of software would be beneficial. Especially if Nintendo wants that core crowd.
Give me a 3D remake of Majora's Mask on 3DS and a brand new Zelda on Wii U and call it a day, okay? Best of both worlds, I say.
"Easy"?
A lot of coding goes into those remakes, you know. Adjusting old technology for newer tech is not necessarily always the "easy" task you make it out to be. I reckon a lot of developers wouldn't appreciate that kind of statement.
Kind of weird, some of these comments...
The games get worse and worse, but it's all the same? Not sure I'm getting it.
Waiting even three months for a game you are super hyped for can seem like an eternity for some people.
Uhh... it looks identical to the first Zapper. Personally I think this one would be more fun to use. Imagine looking into the screen on the U-Pad like a scope while sniping in a shooting game. That would be a pretty cool feature if someone tried it.

The man's no genius, but his quotes can be insightful (if not irritating at times). I think the hate against him tends to be too aggressive, but I do so why he urkes people.
@Nutsack
You don't even know how to define a tablet, do you.
I assume this prediction of yours is based on the experiences dished out on the DS and 3DS? Yes those screens are multitouch but you've always been expected to use a stylus of some sort. The touch screen on it is too small for fingers to begin with.
The Wii U E3 presentation last year showcased people specifically using their fingers and hands for various inputs on the U-pad...
I got 20 free classic games on my 3DS that no one else got for buying before a certain date. And those games may not ever be available to the general public.
There are benefits to early adopters. Besides; any console in this day and age is an investment. Don't like the game library on Vita? I bet you more great games are to come. It goes with any big budget console nowadays.
There was a surprising lack of negativity in this one. Refreshing move Mr. Pachter...
@Lucretia
That's what's been announced thus far. We don't even know what first party launch titles exist yet. How about you wait for E3 before stating false facts?
Those third party multiplatform titles were created are literally the only confirmed Wii U launch titles. So... how about not judging prematurely?
@Akuma
"Nintendo apologist"? What does that even mean?
"The wiimote is rubbish..." That's completely subjective. There were plenty of good games on Wii that used the Wii remote.
And your third paragraph is completely full of misinformation. First of all, the touch screen can be used in conjunction with the face button/d-pad inputs on the U-pad, just like games such as Kid Icarus Uprising or Metroid Prime Hunters. In fa...
Can't we all just do the reasonable thing and wait for E3?
It probably won't sell as quickly as the Wii did initially, but I think it will gradually build an audience like the 360 and PS3 did.
Yeah, the context seems ambiguous at best. Not like anyone with malicious intent toward Nintendo enthusiasts would care for facts though.
