If Nintendo was able to produce the graphics for Mario Galaxy and Zelda Skyward Sword, then I have no doubts they're more than prepped for HD game development.
Just look at the Zelda tech demo from last year's E3.
At least give the comment context. I love how it's always "anonymous developers" saying this kind of thing about the Wii U.
I want to know what the reason for it is. There are plenty of developers who worked on the PS3 exclusively back when its reputation was that it was notably difficult to develop games on.
If you just say "It's too complex" which is contradictory to previous comments from some of the known developers who have sa...
Half racer, half beat-em-up I say!
Agreed. Though having a game or two to pull in the casual gamer never hurt anyone, so I see why they would put Angry Birds on there.
You're taking an anonymous source at face value? Really? Do you get your daily horoscope from cereal boxes?
We've heard before it's actually EASY to develop for from known and more credible sources. You know, ones that we can actually give names to.
I imagine that it's never easy to work with new tech, but at least get yourself a console for development before you start complaining.
Go for it Mr. Pitchford. I'm sure you and your team will do the franchise justice.
"The Wii is a piece of shit. Motion controls are such a gimmick."
"Oh man look at the Move! This shit is so cool!"
That's pretty much the equivalent of some N4G members' reactions to such products in a nutshell. As I said before, I don't get people sometimes.
Expect maybe an official/tentative title at the most. MAYBE a screenshot or two, like with NSMB2. But that would really be it I think, if anything.
Exactly what I was thinking. The Smash Bros. one seems the least likely given we know it only started development a few months back.
..."it was to give PS3 owners a chance to enjoy PS2 games with a slight graphical upgrade"
"Nintendo is simply trying to cash in on the drooling fans by putting out this collection..."
You just said the same thing twice, but worded it differently.
@Dac2u
Zelda OoT 3D had a complete graphical overhaul. They even updated some of the character animations. And some very effective gyro controls. So that point is nothing short of moot.
Nintendo's having two different shows though. Their actual E3 presentation and then their software presentation (I assume the latter will have all of the playable demos).
Given how long it takes Nintendo to produce a major Zelda title, I see no reason to give fans something in the mean time.
Besides, I thought people wanted to play the GCN/Wii games in HD.
Bad when Nintendo does it.
Awesome when Sony does it.
I don't get people sometimes...
Actually the Wii U has two pairs of shoulder buttons. The bottom two are just lower than you would expect.

Also how is the Wii U improper? Because of the size or the screen in the middle? Because aside from all of that it has the same functionality of any 360/PS3 controller since it has a D-Pad, four face buttons, two sticks and ...
You mean Sonic Kart HD 2: Diddy Kong Racing Edition?
That's kind of the nature of a leak. You don't really want to make yourself conspicuous when you're filming footage that probably isn't intended to be seen by anyone yet.
Uhh, he just cited KH games that have been exclusively developed for Nintendo platforms (ie Chain of Memories for GBA and 358/2 Days).
There's more evidence to suggest this HD collection would be on the Wii U and Vita than it would be exclusive to PS3.
Dang... that's an ass-handing if I ever did see one. +1 for "Well Said" when it should really say "Awesome."
