Sad really, since mostly core gamers are the ones who even fucking tune into E3.
I won't. At first I wanted to believe it was a decent conference, but even I can acknowledge it sucked. They blew their load on Nintendo Land.
No Retro Studios? No Monolith? What the hell?
Some good news, I guess. Now if only I had something worthwhile to play on it other than Pikmin 3 and Mario...
My order.
Ubisoft
Sony
Nintendo
EA
Microsoft.
How the hell is it that Nintendo and Microsoft had such underwhelming shows? Heck if I know.
Why has the same news been approved two or three times? These aren't even the full specs.
There's a chance that that aspect of the hardware is not final. If I recall correctly, the rumors suggested that they had finished and sent out the final devkits, but not the official commercial hardware itself.
"They should have fixed the gameplay, the story.... well, basically everything."
We don't know yet what they've changed exactly outside of this little announcement. I reckon this is one of at least several changes coming to the game.
It's a survival game. I think this is a good idea, especially if the intent is to give it a sense of challenge.
I hate to say it but that performance disappointed me. It's depressing to say the least. :/
Here's hoping they have a heavy hitting show tomorrow. Not really keeping my hopes up though.
Whoa, what the hell? Why wasn't this at the actual conference?
What are you two idiots talking about? We got absolutely no specific specs from this sheet. No raw numbers, only brand names.
Nintendrones? Really?
I think pretty much everyone admits that it was a lame conference. I'm sorry that a few of us (myself included) had high expectations.
Microsoft introduced no new IPs.
When has Nintendo historically ever given out a price and release date for a new console at E3?
I can only hope they plan on bundling this with the console. I wouldn't want to spend money on it. The only real positive I can find for this game is that it's Nintendo themed and has some pretty detailed graphics. They remind me of Little Big Planet anyway.
"how is it that nintendo is the only company that can get away with absolutely no new IPs year in and year out?"
What do you call ZombiU?
I fail to see how the conference was worse than Microsoft's, but I definitely agree that of the big three, Sony's was best.
Yeah man, Pikmin 3, two Mario games, a montage of 3rd party hardcore ports and stage time for Ubisoft with ZombiU footage is totally casual!

The original post was about core and casual, not quality.
I'll definitely get one. I want to see the entire launch lineup though. Then I'll know for certain if I'll get one at launch.
@shackdaddy
Right, forgot about those. Though there's no guarantee that ZombiU will be good.
