See guys? Bayonetta is happy about it! You should be happy for her! D:<
It probably came from Microsoft, Sony and Sega fanboys all together. Sega fanboys in particular if you look at the reaction to Sonic Lost World's exclusivity as well.
Which is funny because I don't recall so much immature griping when Sonic Colors was exclusive to Nintendo consoles as well.
Haven't we been through this already? Nintendo could have failure hardware for decades and they still would not go out of business.
Oh, this tripe again.
The funny thing is you cite games that all have a lot of detail and even list one game in particular that looks particularly better on Wii U than its previous generation counterparts. Considering that both Trine 2 and NFS:MW came out in the Wii U's first year, I doubt we've necessarily seen the Wii U's graphical limits.
Oh, and Nintendo is not to blame when a developer half-asses their ports or markets them terribly. At that ...
Nintendo is to blame for the bad ports? Really man? You can only point fingers at Nintendo for so many things. Okay, fine. You want to blame shoddy hardware for games not matching PS4/XOne standards, fair enough.
But at what point is the removal of content from someone else's game their fault exactly? That's what I would like to know. How is Batman's lack of online multiplayer on Nintendo? Warner is making the choice to gimp the game. Square is making the choice t...
I would argue that some blame is to be shared since Nintendo should have done more to increase Wii U sales early on. The launch third party ports were actually really solid. I compared the Wii U version of Assassin's Creed III to the 360 version and they were almost completely on par (barring a few minor technical problems the Wii U version had). Black Ops 2's online (according to ReviewTechUSA) runs better on Wii U than PS3.
However, these half-assed ports we keep se...
Give the Vita credit, it's had a nice spike as well.
Which is ridiculous. Unless the gamepad features are exclusive to Wii U and LARGELY intuitive, it's stupid to charge MORE for what is essentially the same experience across all other platforms.
Just be sure to give the demo a fair shake. There's a definite learning curve, and it's a little annoying to see people (like IGN) write off the controls as flawed when they are just more or less unconventional.
@Xof
Clearly you lack reading comprehension skills.
First off, I already own a PS3, however my friends do not and cannot really afford to get more consoles (two cases in particular were family holiday gifts). They all have Wii Us and are DBZ fans.
Furthermore, Dragon Ball Z games are fairly consistently localized. So your argument holds little, if any water in this case.
Heaven forbid there are Wii U owners who may actually want to play some of their games. I myself want to get the new DBZ game on Wii U since my closest friends with Wii Us are Dragon Ball Z fans and the game is supposed to have online co-op.
It would be if Namco was putting ANY of their upcoming current generation games on the Wii U. I assume this is because of poor sales for Tekken on Wii U.
...That's why they are making it easier for indies to make games on their system?
So, I'm a tad confused. Does this account for the 3G Vita or the Wifi Vita? Or are both now $199?
Either way, good news for the hardware. This will definitely boost sales. And thank goodness about the memory card price drops. I'm certainly more inclined to get one sooner.
Making development easier will increase games and therefor sales. There ya go.
Damn. Dem's fightin' wurds.
In all seriousness, it's good Nintendo keeps taking steps to make indie development easier. They and Sony are thinking very swiftly and progressively.
I definitely see what you're saying. I think this is a classic example of why the numerical score in video game reviews need to go. They are nothing short of misleading at times and don't provide anywhere near the full context an extensive review should.
I read the entire review by the way, and it pretty much mirrors my thoughts on it. Just a shame the number score had to be there. Honestly I feel it would have been more effective without it.
A perfect score? For a game this buggy? I think not.
For the record, I do own Payday 2 and I am enjoying it, but it has some bugs that NEED to be ironed out and soon. That and certain aspects of the game really need to be expanded upon. Another week or two of development time could have fixed many of the issues.
If you need an example, I've been playing the game with two friends and an AI companion. If the AI goes down, after being revived by an ally, onl...
I don't usually trust reviews. Usually I wait until I play a game for myself and I wind up checking out what appeals to me (it's why I actually found Duke Nukem Forever enjoyable when most didn't).
It's not like W101 has received poor scores. On Metacritic it has a 79 (last time I checked it) which is hardly bad, and most of the scores have been in the 80-95 range. So if you want to use scores anyway, they're pretty positive either way. I see no reason to ...
So why is Pikmin 3 crossed off when it helped with that supposed 79% increase in Wii U sales that VGChartz reported?
I'm not sure that picture holds much water presently.
