The Last of Us ended in such a way where a sequel in that particular universe with those particular characters is unnecessary. If Naughty Dog felt there was more they could do with them, only then would I be for it.
TLOU was ND's baby, and I trust them with it whatever they decide.
The first game had some fair success to it. But they can do more with it and explore the character interactions in my opinion.
Also the Anarchy Reigns/Power Stone thing was just a suggestion. I was saying they can explore other gameplay fighting styles. I wasn't trying to say they should relegate it to just one. Either way, I feel if they do another, it should have 3D gameplay and not 2D.
Pokemon merchandise is fairly successful in all regions from what I understand. If advertized properly the game could be a generous hit for Nintendo and more importantly the Wii U.
Like with Dinsey Infinity, "Hey kids! Buy these toys and you can fight with them in this game!" Something like that. It would be a nice treat for younger gamers who get a Wii U, I think.
In the meantime, I'll be waiting for that new 3D Pokemon fighter that was recentl...
If demand is high enough when copies are sold out, they probably will. Fire Emblem was sold out for a little while, but demand was so high they reshipped it.
Money, I would assume. A lot of people love Pokemon. I've actually been out of the loop for the past three or so generations, but I'm interested in X/Y. So here's hoping it's all great stuff.
Nintendo being cautious, like they were with Fire Emblem it seems.
Why not explore new gameplay ideas in a sequel? Rather than Smash Bros. style, they could perhaps try something closer to Anarchy Reigns or Power Stone? Just a thought. I always figured since almost every character in PSA:BR are in 3D games, not 2D, they would be better off in a 3D fighter.
I don't expect anything. I'm waiting patiently. $150 for the Wifi version is what I would find ideal. If they offer $200 with a copy of Tearaway and a free memory card, then I'll just get that.
Immature is a better word, I would say. If you can't appreciate something because it's "too kiddy" then you probably have no place calling yourself a fan of the medium. There's a reason why film enthusiasts have a great deal of appreciation for Pixar Animation Studios when all they produce is family entertainment.
I've been saying this for a while and for some reason people constantly get on my case about it.
"Vita's library should stand on its own."
"YOU'RE JUST A HATER AND A FANBOY!!"
"Okaaayyy..."
The Vita is amazing. But so far Sony has been cannibalizing the system with their home console marketing. The Vita is not a portable PS3 OR a PS4 controller no matter how much Sony tries to adverti...
"Just to clarify, we will ADAPT our DirectX11 features to Wii U, not that it supports them natively."
Give these developers props for working with what they've got.
Easy there chum, it almost sounds like you're trolling.
I don't know. Sonic Colors and Generations were pretty solid. And Lost World is shaping up quite well since they are actually trying to make the speed and platforming more complimentary to each other.
Also 3D World is not a port of 3D Land. It just uses the same gameplay style and expands on it with larger worlds and multiplayer as part of the design.
Why yes... it was wonderful.
Personally I think it will take off later. It won't make Wii hardware sales numbers by any means, but I don't think it will be in this rut forever.
@Cam977
I feel sorry for you and the ten plus others who agreed with a comment that stated that Mario (a platformer), Zelda (an action/adventure game) and Pikmin (a real time strategy game) were all similar.
@wishingW3L
Oh please. You're the close-minded one. You're so sensitive to anyone who likes anything Nintendo related you throw a hissy-fit and start insulting people. For goodness' sake, you called me a Nintendo fanboy for st...
In all fairness, how much was the original when it came out? :p
Well there's always Sonic Lost World.
*receives glares from fellow Mario fans*
Clearly you don't comprehend the difference between a system selling millions and fans being excited for something.
Abriael, just stop.
There's nothing wrong with having low opinion of a company with otherwise clearly anti-consumer practices as well as actions in their history that clearly reflect poorly on them, such as closing down studios at the drop of a dime or axing off franchises after THEY screw up their launches by releasing DRM-ridden and broken, dysfunctional products.
No one needs to support ANY EA games whatsoever, and in my personal case, I choose to avoi...
