This statement makes next to no sense to me. The CPU is confirmed to be a POWER7 model which is miles ahead of the current generation hardware.

For what it's worth I'm in my 20's and I'm a proud owner of a 3DS. I've owned the GBA and the GBC. Call me old-fashioned but as far as I'm concerned, Nintendo handhelds are always the way to go.

I see where he's coming from. These games are supposed to satisfy fans of the classic 2D games. The 3D platformers are the big hitters for each console generation.
