That doesn't make any sense. Activision put several Call of Duty games on the Wii. Did those games have Classic Controller support? I remember them being marketed as traditionally controlled Wii games.
More like a month and a half. If this rumor is anything to go by, we'll still have at least a couple of months before they reveal the price and release date.
Whenever Black Ops 2 comes out is when it comes out on Wii U.
We're getting that in the fall.
I'm interested in making Wii U my primary console. Assuming it plays well (which it probably will), I want to buy this on Wii U.
Hell yeah man. Check out those graphics! Totally reminiscent of the SNES.
Lol at the one moron who disagreed with you.
He also voiced Deadpool in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
You know "family entertainment" means kids and adults, right? Children's entertainment is different from family entertainment.
Oh and you missed a number of other M rated games for GCN, Wii and Wii U.
Eh, not it wasn't. It tried too hard to be Mario Kart. This one technically rips off Diddy Kong Racing, but at least they're trying SOMETHING new (that which being transforming your vehicle on the fly).
Well... it's nice to know that most of the people who replied to my comment continuing this idiotic trend of "Wii U is current gen" didn't even read the comment they replied to.
How exactly does current generation hardware have a Power7 based CPU in it? How does current generation hardware have the ability to run Unreal Engine 3 at max as well as Unreal Engine 4? Neither the PS3 nor the 360 can do that.
Wow! Just WOW! Context? Sense? What is all that about?
I'm not going to argue that the Wii U will be stronger than the PS4; I don't expect that.
What I DO expect is for it to be a fairly powerful, especially compared to the PS3/360. Enough so to be able to have ports of upcoming consoles' multiplatform games, if only less detailed ones. My argument is the CPU being a Power7 which already eclipses the predecessors.

Yeah, but having to buy a new and proprietary tablet just to play a game on your preferred console is preposterous. There's no way in hell I'm buying a SmartGlass when, just like the Kinect, most of the functionality will either be optional or suck. The Vita/PS3 combo on the other hand I would NEVER buy a Vita just to play a Wii U port.
Now for fans any of these devices, fine for them. For me, no friggin' way.
Keyword being 'launch' title. Compare Call of Duty 2 to Halo 4 or Gears of War 3. Compare Resistance 1 to The Last of Us. If ZombiU is the best looking Wii U launch title, I think the future of the console is not exactly dim.
Oy... I can only imagine the onslaught of comments once this article gets approved. I know I'm going to get a million disagrees for it but hear me out here.
The Wii U is being made using a modern architecture, unlike the Wii....
Nah, read the quotes more closely. They're saying it's more or less in the realm of possibility, not that it's bound to happen. If the game flops on Wii U though, I say don't count on it. I doubt Ubisoft will support this franchise if it makes them no money.
I was thinking more along the lines of Viewtiful Pikmin.
Fucking awesome. That trailer was hilarious.
Whoops, I meant $400 for thinking about it. Caught it too late to edit it lol.
At this point I'm pretty sure it will be between $299 or $349. Either price or below them is good enough for me. $300 and I'll have to think about it and seriously budget myself. Any higher and I'll have to wait for a price drop.
Well, they better hope the game is good enough to warrant buying an entire tablet for it. Or a Vita with a PS3. At the very least with Wii U all of that is built in.
...wut?
