It doesn't come with a hard drive. You supply one yourself. It doesn't force anything proprietary on you like the 360 did.
I'd really like to see someone complain about being able to use a terabyte HDD on their console.
Fat Princess was awesome.
Their E3 conference certainly didn't show it, but that doesn't mean there is no potential.
I wouldn't count Shantae as "every damn character." She's actually a very unique character that would fit pretty well in the Brawl universe (if one ignores her sizable baggage).
I'm with you on your complaints and concerns over character input for Smash Bros., but I've given it some thought and I think that Shantae would be a great inclusion, especially since her games thus far have been Nintendo exclusives up until the Risky's Revenge iOS port. ...
Um. Shantae's first game was on the GBC. Her sequel is on DSiWare (granted it also went to iOS). And her latest iteration is going to be on Wii U.
She seems like a perfectly good contender for a 3rd party slot in Smash Bros. She has a lot of abilities that would make for interesting moves. And she's a girl; silly as it is to say, Smash Bros. is rather lacking in female characters.
Meh. I saw the extended cut and it wasn't anything to freak out over. It certainly improved the ending in my opinion though. That's good enough for me.
While I do like this thing, the news for its existence is MONTHS old by now.
I don't care what anyone says; Scribblenauts is cutesy, but it's a lot of fun. Glad the series became so successful.
Read some of the previews and watch some gameplay videos for Razor's Edge. It actually looks a lot better than the original version of NGIII. Fans keep telling me it's because Nintendo is publishing it and they're influencing Team Ninja to improve upon the game.
Bubble up for making me lol.
You got that game already. It's called Twilight Princess. Which is nothing like Wind Waker or Skyward Sword.
As for a mature IP, they're publishing NGIII: Razor's Edge and giving it everything that was missing from the original version (dismemberment and weapon customization to name two). There's also ZombiU.
Why ask Nintendo to do something they're just not known for when they can have other developers do it for them?
"Anonymous sources" are always right!

People like to jump on speculative bandwagons, for one thing.
EDIT: @victorGma21
I'm aware of that. I'm tired of clear fabrication of the truth. How anyone thinks this looks at all worse than the original versions (based on screenshots and E3 video footage) is beyond me.
Say what you will, I'm glad Reggie broke out of the mold and expressed his honest thoughts for a change. I don't take offense to his comment because of its honesty.
In my opinion there really shouldn't be anything to compare. They were characters who could potentially fall in love after spending some time together regardless of gender (particularly in game 3). That's really all there is to it.
I remember there being a huge stink about gay relationships by fans of The Old Republic. I never thought such close minded people even existed within gaming culture. It's a sad, sad day when I read about young people who share my intere...
Why do you want Nintendo to make a mature game? It's like asking Pixar to make an R-rated film. It doesn't work that way.
Nintendo's bringing us Game & Wario. Besides, P-100 is also a new IP and technically so is Lego City Stories. And they're both exclusive to Wii U.
You're entitled to your opinion, but as far as I can see, the Wii U does have good games coming for its launch window. Also it's getting the "definitive versions...
I think the idea is it is a console for one, but the one console will bring people together. Both in the living room and online.
At least one can hope. If there's a focus for online gaming here, I've yet to see it outside of Miiverse. My fingers are still crossed for NSMBU. They confirmed no online for Pikmin 3 and NSMB2, but not for the Wii U game. Day one buy for me if there's online coop.
@TheGamingArt
True gamer? Could you kindly step off your pedestal? The Wii, DS and 3DS are successful because they're good outlets for gamers of any age, they're cheap and they have fun software on them.
To suggest that something like that should not be successful on the grounds that it's not the strongest hardware is horse shit.
Now how about you enlighten us and tell us what your twisted definition of a "true gamer" is...
@Shok
"SHUT UP FANBOY. YOU JUST SAY THAT CUZ YOU'RE A NINTENDO FANBOY THE WII U IS A WEAK PIECE OF SHIT AND I KNOW MORE THAN YOU CUZ YOU'RE A FANBOY."
I've seen screenshots and video footage as well. This claim (from some obscure German website no less) is so bogus it's almost worth laughing at. The issue is stuff like this is a goldmine for fanboys and trolls. Why else do all of the negative articles on N4G get so much heat?
The Wii U hardware wasn't finalized until recently. Meaning as long as they go with something fairly modern, it will still crunch out a good supply of power. It probably won't be the PC standard, but it's still at least better than what consoles give out now.
Also if that's a card from 2008, you can bet your ass it's far cheaper now.
@Persistantthug
That was the longest pointless argument I've ever seen. You have got to be trolling but I will humor you anyway.
Why does Nintendo not providing a HDD count as a failure of anything if you can SUPPLY YOUR OWN WITH ANY MEMORY SIZE?!
No, no, no. The only concept to grasp here is you're so anal about this memory issue (or lack thereof) that you need to come up with this screwy McDonald's analogy that has next to nothi...
