"And Nintendo's insistence on making Ganondorf the villain in EVERY SINGLE GAME."
First of all, that isn't the case in EVERY SINGLE GAME. [SPOILER ALERT] Go play Skyward Sword.
Secondly, the reason Ganondorf is the villain is because he, like Link and Zelda, transcends through time. Each generation Link, Zelda and Ganondorf are reincarnated to basically repeat history.
Also, what the hell does it matter if Ganondorf is the v...
Not that I don't believe you, but I can't recall reading the article that outright confirmed the feature. Link please?
Looks better than the E3 build, but still not as good looking as the pre-rendered trailer. Lighting's nice and I appreciate the context sensitive damage on the zombies. Good looking game as far as console graphics' standards go.
That is an unbelievably ignorant statement and it goes hand in hand with some of the earlier posted comments.
How does Scribblenauts art style dictate how much this developer knows about power? They've seen the specs and they've worked with them longer than most other developers have. So regardless of how their games look, they still have a better understanding of what the system is capable of. You need to be able to understand a console's inner architecture befor...
Yeah, the only way Zelda can succeed is for the franchise to go rated M and introduce guns, gore tits and rape. /s
I believe that Nintendo should do with it what they will. The last thing the world needs is for Zelda to step in Metroid Other M's shoes.
This largely comes from me believing that you're off your rocker if you believe that the original NES game, OoT, Wind Waker and Skyward Sword are somehow all the same. Or you simply have not played them...
No, they've just yet to formally announce them. Plus, usually when it's just a rumor Nintendo responds with "We don't comment on rumors and speculation." Since they took the time to say "we've nothing to say about this," I'm pretty confident it's true now.
Just because you only make games on one platform doesn't mean you can't look at other consoles in your spare time.
This calls for a Rush song.
Anyway, this could actually be beneficial. By lowering expectations with E3, it opens them an opportunity to really surprise people.
If they succeed with both cool games and at least a few surprises, I think people will forgive them for the E3 performance. If not, then, well at least Nintendo fans and gamer families have something to look forward to.
I know what you mean. I've lost and gained my fourth bubble twice now, and it's largely due to stating my opinions. How this twit of a troll has four bubbles is beyond me.
So you're going to generalize just because Nintendo themselves only make E-T games themselves? So, I guess the Pirates of the Caribbean movies don't count for Disney because of their family entertainment?
Let's not forget that Nintendo has licensed M games before, like Geist and Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube (the latter also on the Wii).
To bring up the fact that only one of the M rated games we know of is an exclusive is both irrelevant and a w...
I get that you have your opinions and you're entitled to them, but do you have to say something smug like that to get your point across?
Wii U is next generation simply on the grounds that it's a generation after the Wii, the Nintendo predecessor console. That's non-negotiable.
Insulting people with a different mindset from yours only makes you come off as a jerk.
A kiddy console with, what, 5 rated M games at launch?
-Ninja Gaiden
-Assassin's Creed III
-ZombiU
-Mass Effect 3
-Darksiders II
Not to mention Batman, Tekken, Aliens and Ghost Recon Online which are all T - M.
What exactly makes them lazy and generic compared to their retro brethren? The whole reason NSMB exists is to satisfy fans of those games.
So first it was that you insisted Wii U didn't support the engine at all and now the issue is "dumbed down ports."
You thrive off of bottom feeding, don't you. You can't even be bothered to admit that you were wrong about whether or not Wii U could even run the engine.

On par with current generation consoles, my foot.
*Sigh* That's not confirmed. No one from Epic Games ever confirmed what consoles support/don't support Unreal 4.
EDIT: @StraightedgeSNES
Have you seen the tech demo for it?
Wii U is next gen, hence the disagrees.
EDIT: I'm sorry that people think specs are everything, but the Wii U is the next generation successor to the Wii. It's a next gen console.
And I emphasize that no one confirmed support (or lack thereof) of Unreal 4 on any game console.
And if Nintendo disagrees with you?
Nintendo's supporting downloadable full retail games at launch. What's to stop developers from taking advantage of that?
@trenken311
The industry was in its infancy when Nintendo came out with all of its new franchises. And besides, if you want them to support new IPs, maybe you should go out and support them when they publish them like Pushmo or Dillon's Rolling Western.
And I'm well aware what Nintendo has been about since its beginnings; providing fun family entertainment through video game consoles. That's what it has ALWAYS been about.
