@LOL_WUT
Wii, current generation.
Wii U, next generation. The competition does not define that. And even then, you don't have an official spec sheet on the CPU and GPU.
Right, I'll just keep that in mind.
@GynGa
Being first didn't help the Dreamcast in the long run. Just sayin'.
@Studio-YaMi
Yeah, but constantly moaning about it on N4G articles won't change anything, it just annoys members of the community.
You're aware that the Playstation Vita account system was region locked, right? Who's to say the PS4 won't be like that?
Of course I don't mind little things like that, but I was curious as to your take.
@ThePsychoGamer
You're fucking obsessed.
Holy fuck. That would be pretty awesome if Banjo-Kazooie could be restored to a developer with at least a moderate level of competency.
Generation leap or not, I still think it will be a fairly powerful console compared to today's standards. Go look at the latest screens and trailers for ZombiU. Now take into account that's probably an Alpha build of the game. Now take into account that it, like the rest of the Wii U's launch library, doesn't use much more than 50% of the console's power.
Perhaps the games won't look quite as nice as they will on the upcoming Sony/Microsoft consoles, b...
Very interesting read.
I don't think he's a jerk. I think he just says ignorant things or words his points poorly.
That said I do watch his Pach-Attack videos and while he does come off as arrogant, he does offer some interesting insight on how exactly the business side of gaming works.
Taking information on the media itself from him is foolish though. He's a businessman, not an artist.
For their sake I hope they nerf it. I've made a promise to myself to never buy a new console that's over $400. That went triple for the PS3.
The lack of information in this post is laughable. The Nintendo Direct in question is a ten minute piece on a game that can be taken as a pseudo-sequel to the Brain Age games.
So don't expect anything particularly mind blowing from it.
I think the number of ignorant parents will dwindle as more and more core gamers age and become parents themselves. Monitoring what my kids play is what I fully intend to do.
Very good points.
And the game is actually pretty awesome. Thanks. :D
Bummer. Well, they announced one. I don't see any reason why they won't confirm this later on.
I have to wonder what the appeal was for this game over its Wii U counterpart. A lot of people seem to want this game but have very little interest in the other.
Personally I'm excited for both, but that's just me.
I think it would be more effective to give players the option of using the second controller screen or not. Take advantage of the second screen but don't force it on anyone who doesn't care for it. Some gamers simply don't want to try new things. That way you win over both audiences.
As far as I'm concerned, options are always a good thing so long as they help someone enjoy their experience with the game.
An excellent example is that Resident ...
Do you take the time to realize how completely ignorant you are of everything regarding Nintendo? I'm not even attempting to be insulting; this is an honest question for you.
Actually they're not scared. If you look back at Nintendo's track record, they have done this with nearly every major platform they've released since the Gamecube. They're not "scared." They're following their business model. Inb4 you say they need to change the business...
I'd sooner believe Nintendo did it for Gearbox than for Activision.
Sometimes I have to wonder where the general consensus belongs on HD remakes at this point.
Some people get aggravated at the thought of a remake because they're more in favor of new experiences. Adversely Some people get ecstatic at the idea of an HD remake/port of their favorite classic.
