If I read one more declaration of the death of or a dying platform, I'm gonna blow a gasket.
Unless you prefer the features on them. I made a conscious decision to get Darksiders II and Assassin's Creed III on Wii U because I wanted the off-screen feature. I use it for both games just about each night that I choose to have some game time.
I'm sure someone will throw the "That's just because you're a fanboy" card in my face, but that's my reasoning and I doubt I'm the only one who enjoys said feature for the games that support it.
Wish more people in this community were like you and Mr. Yoshida.
"Nintendo has no third party games."
*Nintendo gets third party games*
"Ports don't count."
Oh N4G logic, you never fail.
You're not supposed to use all four fingers on the shoulder buttons. Or at least I never saw it that way. I'm perfectly comfortable using my index fingers.
So far the only game that seems to prompt going back and forth between the screens in the heat of the gameplay is ZombiU and one or two of the Nintendo Land attractions. I never had the issue you had playing the Rayman demo I tried out.
As for suggesting it's gimmicky, that's fair if you th...
Someone recently called me foolish for suggesting that core gamers who take specs into consideration are "the minority" in video game consumers. I found this sort of lack of awareness to be really surprising.
Any game will produce less frames per second if not properly optimized for the platform.
@PhoenixRising37
Well you criticized people for buying a new console. I suppose the word "preference" does not fall into your vocabulary?
It's fine if you yourself are not interested for one reason or another, but don't knock others who are. It's petty and childish.
EDIT: Unless I'm mistaken in thinking suggesting that buying a new console from a person's preferred game console manufacturer is now considered a ba...
More of this? Really? Wasn't the original article posted like two damn weeks ago? Who are the trolls who keep submitting this crap?
I've managed to get some reasonable time out of mine after putting on brightness level 3 and power-saving mode. I don't play for entire days on end, I like to take breaks and unwind and I usually recharge it in that time.
When I don't feel like waiting, I just plug it into the wall near my bed and just lay down as I play. As far as convenience goes, it's not so bad as a home console.
Hell to the yes. Love this game. If they provide bonus content I will definitely get it again.
For a second there I read "Wii Fit U" in your last sentence. :P
But yes, I agree. It will probably be picked up as it goes. I've met a few people who were not really fond of the controller/console but were excited once they actually tried it out.
I receive a lot of disagrees lol. Lately I get at least one on each comment I write. I doubt many people actually disagree with the context of what I said.
EDIT: Just wanted to congratulate you on the interesting mod. It seems really cool and I'll definitely show the video to my friend and see if it inspires her at all. :)
Nice little collectible. I'd probably get one if I had the coins and/or a gold Wiimote to go with it.
As long as people chastise and scorn each other for their different views then how can there be a real community?
Well, well, look at that.
Software sales have recently fallen though, so that could be a part of why the prices fall so quickly.
I'm a strong believer in games speaking for themselves as oppose to raw numbers (numbers which to me should apply more to PCs than to consoles).
So far we've yet to see any games really take advantage of this hardware. Mostly just third party ports that were thrown together in about half a year. I think the only game built from the ground up for the Wii U so far is Nintendo Land and that's just a compilation of small games. I still want to see how Retro Studios...
Sticker Star is not even really that bad. In fact it's still turn based combat with the same timing based reaction commands from the first two games.
However I do acknowledge it's been DRASTICALLY simplified, and I think they made this decision to keep it as a handheld game. Unlike the first two Paper Mario games, Sticker Star can be played in rather short bouts. Five to ten minutes if you're crafty.
But this is hardly a franchise **** up as you c...
Skyrim I heard was pretty good, and I actually liked Dishonored (flawed as it was).
