That was a pretty fair review, I think. They listed reasonable pros and cons for the system.
Not true. Tekken Tag 2 is pretty much on par, Nano Assault Neo does things the previous versions could not, I didn't see much of a difference from Darksiders II and Gearbox claims the Wii U version of Aliens will be the best looking.
One of the reasons people told me a Wii U is no good is because the Vita can emulate its two screen functionality which a PS3 (you know, another home console) is required for. And as I said, they both have similar features; motion control, a camera and touchscreens.
The comparison is 100% fair.
Because ports will look drastically better. /sarcasm
Tell me why those games don't run well and yet Tekken Tag 2 apparently has no reported graphical hitches.
Also Gearbox has said the Wii U version of Aliens will be the best looking. So go figure.

I said I don't see how excluding Peach because they want the characters to play the same is a big deal (and plus, in each game Peach is the one who is kidnapped. You'd have a better chance including Daisy or Rosalina).
"So you wouldn't want them to push themselfs to make a game even better, are you serious, why would you think like that."
Actually, I never said that. The point of NSMB is nostalgia. It does not necessarily need to tread n...
"Gimmicky controllers"
Ah, this tired argument again. You mean a controller that functions similarly to the Vita? Which no one seems to view as gimmicky? Despite having motion control, a camera and not one, but two touch screens?
I really don't see why this would be a big deal. NSMB plays nothing like Super Mario Bros. 2 and in that one each character had different abilities and attributes. In NSMB Mario, Luigi and the Toads all play the same, so having Peach would probably not change the game at all.
As for "challenging" themselves, go play the 3D Mario games. NSMB doesn't really do much that's particularly new outside of new power ups and they don't really need to be. It...
That isn't the point. If we're talking about performance, then the Wii U has proven itself to handle that just fine, even if only with smaller games.
There are games on the 360 and PS3 that don't reach the graphical standard of Nintendo Land (I won't say NSMBU since I agree that that game doesn't really look very different from its Wii predecessor) and still don't run with a smooth framerate at 720p.
If Nintendo pumps out a large scale...
Really. Have you read any of the positive reviews of this game?
Also calling it a turd is not a fact; it's an opinion. An opinion that, while agreed upon by plenty, is not universal.
Basically those big three and Darksiders II and AC:III. I want to hold off on buying more games until Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 comes out.
What the hell do PCs have to do with game consoles?
To be fair, it's not exactly like the ones downing the Wii U enjoy using facts at all times either.
Give it some time. A few of my friends said they'll get one once the new Smash Bros./Bayonetta 2/Nintendo core (Star Fox/F-Zero) games come out.
For now I'm just enjoying my games and Miiverse. Plus we have a long launch window ahead.
Do you mean 8GB or 32GB models? There are no 12GB models.
Fanboy or not, I like Miiverse a heckuva lot more than I like Xbox Live or PSN Home. So far there's been absolutely no stupid bullshit and the community is incredibly nice to interact with.
Anyone who plans on calling me out on that probably has not experienced it for themselves. Although I'd like to hear one legitimate complaint other than "Durr it took Nintendo too long to make their online good durrr".
The YouTube app is not even what I u...
@yahokchief
tl;dr
Oh of course. Let's shit on someone's experience with an app on a brand new gaming console because in my own little world every post they make has to cater to MY needs.
Grow up.
Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U run at a very solid 60FPS. Thanks for your attempt at total ignorance and/or dishonesty.
EDIT: Found out Blops 2 was not so smooth. Oh well, point stands. Nintendo's games look good and run well.
Yeah, being asked to wait and let your system become a better system is such a chore. It's not like you can get up and accomplish other things in that time.
Oh sorry, I'm gonna get going and handle something. My PS3's loading its latest update. Looks like it's going to take a solid 40 or so minutes.
Not like waiting for lengthy updates isn't annoying, but don't act as if it somehow breaks the console, especially when PS3 owners have b...
@ILive
If that's the case then why did the Wii sell so well compared to all of its competition?
So it's basically like a Gamecube that can play some Wii games.
Jeez, I'll stick to my Wii and Wii U.
