Focus only on negatives. Typical.
Also numbers 2 and 4 are opinions, not facts.
Not really.
You could argue for a number of console generations, actually.
Playstation was weaker than the 64. Number one seller.
Playstation 2 was weaker than the GCN and Xbox. Number one seller.
Wii and DS were weaker than their competition and those were number one sellers.
3DS is also currently outselling the Vita, particularly in Japan.
@SilentNegotiator
Wow, really? You mean to seriously tell me that the PS3 didn't have a hard time pushing its online infrastructure early on? Aside from Resistance, how many big games were online on the PS3? Or had DLC for that matter? And we all know how well PS Home worked out when it launched.
Honestly, if people here are going to label me a fanboy for defending Nintendo with this platform then you tell me how you're not to be labelled a fanboy for...
You do realize that the standard gamepad is just the Pro controller with motion control and a screen in the middle... right?
For games that I felt deserved better; Star Wars Republic Commando, Killer7, Brutal Legend, ZombiU, Duke Nukem Forever.
For those I felt were overrated; Halo 3. That's really all I have off the top of my head.
@bothebo
tl;dr
I really hope you get bent and take a trip outside, man. Sounds like you need it.
@bothebo
Please keep the misinformation coming. The Wii U and first party games have sold moderately well. Some places sold the Wii U out but stocks were kept up.
Reggie is a PR person. The PR folks at Sony lied when they said the trailer for Eight Days was actual gameplay.
Just own up and admit that you desperately WANT the Wii U to fail, eh?
I love how a fanatic is accusing people who like this console of being fanatics. Oh the irony.
Because Madden reflects the launch as a whole. /sarcasm
You can't really make that argument if casual gamers give the industry a whole load of money.
Quality and depth is another story though.
It starts with education. Who buys these games? Adults.
I think it depends on who you are. Anyone with a 360/PS3 would probably not be wowed by the Wii U launch lineup. Nintendo fans like myself really enjoyed it though. A Nintendo platform with games like Darksiders and Assassin's Creed is hardly a bad thing.
The Vita suffered a similar launch issue; it had a lot of games but you need to be into Sony platforms to dig them. But like with the Wii U, the Vita is going to have some pretty good software in the future.
I don't believe it's anything more than trolling. The Wii U was not even listed as #1 on this list and a plethora of the early comments are slamming the Wii U.
It's not trolling when it's toward a Nintendo console.
There, I fixed it for you.
I hated LBP Karting's beta. My favorite kart racer is still Mario Kart 7, but this game is actually pretty good. It has decent driving mechanics and actually does something rather unique with the vehicular transformations and changing environments.
Everyone has a bad game. The Monolith you're speaking of is not the same as this one.
That said the Monolith you refer to also helped give us F.E.A.R., which in my opinion was a fantastic horror-action shooter.
Great game with a great story. Looked beautiful, even when compared to some low to mid end 360/PS3 games. Would have looked even better on a stronger platform.
I played the demo. Didn't change my opinion in the slightest. Satisfied?
Trolls and haters. People love to hate things on this site.
