It seems to differentiate with each individual system. Mine takes between ten to fifteen seconds and my friend's Wii U is able to load most thing within eight to twelve.

Hopefully the April update will provide a more significant improvement.

Just because you fail to acknowledge Skyward Sword's proprietary Wii Motion Plus requirement, doesn't mean it never existed, or the fact that it was released on the last legs of the Wii, more or less resulting in lower than usual sales. Sales that, as I said, mimic the sales of Majora's Mask which were also around the same units sold for a game released on the last legs of a console with a proprietary upgrade.

If you're going to bother replying, at least make ...

Maybe you should look up what trolling actually means.

I didn't really bash the Vita or the PS3/4, so I'm not really sure what you're talking about. All I stated was that despite cross-functionality with the PS3, the Vita did not sell well at its initial price point. I used that to represent an opinion that I don't think cross-functionality with the PS4 will necessarily make the thing sell.

Oh, and I don't say cynical things on every Sony ...

As far as I know, there are no corporate jobs for leaving comments on an all around video game article comment section. Look at my comment history; I've spoken positively for other consoles in the past and (shocker) I've actually criticized Nintendo in the past.

Sorry my opinion got under your skin. I appreciate the maturity in your reply.

Zelda's sales have been cyclical, not declining. Majora's Mask was released on the last legs of the N64 and sold roughly the same amount as Skyward Sword.

EDIT: It's also convenient that you don't bother to mention that none of the Uncharted games outsold Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time. <...

Uh, you guys are aware that Game Informer gave Lego City an 8.5, right? They even cite why they liked it.

Just because one reivewer (or even a handful for that matter) say a game is bad, doesn't necessarily make it so.

"nintendo is a joke at this point. im sorry people, but it's true."

Only an ignorant drone will take a subjective topic and speak of their viewpoint on it as if it were factual. You sir, are being nothing but hateful and condescending.

'Oh, and not everyone who firmly criticizes Nintendo is a "hater" just letting you know. ;)'

Oh I'm sure he knows that. But I think that based on your comment behavior over the past few months, you're one of them.

A large part of Nintendo's success is that they have been opting to do things differently. I think everyone here acknowledges how Sony and Microsoft are larger corporations with a much broader focus when it comes to technology; Microsoft also does computers while Sony does things like video players, TVs and computers as well.

Nintendo is considerably smaller and focuses all of their energy in the games industry and they are the only company in history to have started that...

@LOGICWINS

How so? They're video game platforms with extremely similar functionality and even similar launch issues. Unless you're suggesting it's because one is a handheld and the other is a console.

Need I remind you that this generation in particular for handhelds marks handheld devices becoming very similar to their console counterparts, both with features and with games.

Fair point, but I'm comp...

Technically four, but the Vita's a good comparison since it's been out longer and has a similar, albeit cheaper price range. It was not selling any better for a year. After a price drop, it sold much better in Japan. If the Vita can turn itself around like that, so can the Wii U.

I don't know, why are you condescendingly cynical in nearly every Wii U related article, negative or positive? You're only using this quote to stroke your own ego, not because it holds any merit. At least I have the sense to say my piece and be done with it AND not pretend like my opinions or facts or to make predictions and act like they are set in stone.

I'm saying something I would say in regard to ANY system. Wait and see. That's a very simple concept beca...

Not necessarily true. Resident Evil Revelations and Kingdom Hearts were moderate successes on the 3DS and Muramasa: The Demon Blade on Wii sold more in the US than in any other region, including its nation of origin. If you go even further back, Resident Evil 4 on the gamecube was a pretty damn successful game.

Yeah, unfortunately with newer Nintendo hardware, quality 3rd part software goes unnoticed. But look at ZombiU; Ubisoft said they were satisfied with how it sold and t...

I have a few problems with this list.

New Super Mario Bros. I will give them since they really don't change a whole lot with those games. But how does Mario Kart not keep its formula fresh? Mario Kart 7 is a largely more polished and engaging online experience when compared to Wii and especially DS. I don't remember seeing customizable Karts, hang gliders or underwater sections in any previous Mario Kart game. Granted they brought back the coin system, but that had n...

Nah, the market would not crash so suddenly. You would need a string of failures to lead up to that kind of ultimatum. It happened with the first industry crash prior to the NES' release and it also happened when Sega went third party.

Great. More crystal balls. Can we not just wait and see before we end up with socks in our mouths?

Look, I'm not even trying to say the Wii U will sell even remotely closely to the Nextbox and PS4. I'm saying let's just see what this market does and how things play out. Everyone expected the Vita to be a hot seller at launch and it was anything but. The same thing happened to the PS3 and even the 3DS (though only initially for both). The market is not the way it u...

Anyway, nice review. No disagreements here.

Let's not open that stupid can of worms again. That "controversy" was more short lived than the first Assassin's Creed game. It came and went as did the game, which received decent reviews from what I remember, and sold pretty well. Whether or not we can call it controversial is debatable, but I see next to no reason why it's the #1 most controversial game of the generation.

I can't believe I forgot to touch upon this subject before.

I think it's incredibly laughable you will refer to the remake of Wind Waker as a "scam" when as a Sony fan I've never heard a cross word from you about HD collections for the PS3 which are literally nothing but resolution upscales with trophies for PS2 games that came out a single generation prior.

Yet somehow a game from the Gamecube era being completely remade with new graphi...
