After thinking about it, I decided that I was a bit hard on you, sorry about that.

I am just a bit tired of gamers always bashing each other instead of standing together to force companies to improve the quality of the games we buy.

I don't even play COD games, and only checked out the thread because I was curious to see what the fuss is about, so I don't really have room to talk.

I guess I simply feel that all gamers should have t...

Some games are worth the asking price, but I suspect that for every game that is actually worth $60 another 10 are priced too highly for what you get.

I used to buy a lot of games on release day, but in 2010 I needed to save money in my budget and decided to change my game buying habits. Unless it is something I am really looking forward to I hold off and wait to catch it on sale. I find that this often leads to one of three things:

1) I find it on sale, ev...

I think about 90 percent of the DLC that gets released is overpriced, especially when you consider game play hours vs DLC hours.

I am okay with DLC that is properly priced, extends gameplay, and doesn't feel like it was pulled from the main game and held over to sale as DLC. I am not okay with paying $10-15 for DLC that I can finish in a couple hours, or DLC that feels like it should have been including in the game that I paid for.

I see, so instead of protesting they should do what you do, and spend their time going to threads for games they no longer play in order to insult the people who still enjoy the series? And you don't consider yourself in the 'idiotic gamer' category? Interesting.

I don't play COD games, but I do think it is high time for gamers to stop fighting with each other over silly nonsense like 'which console is better' or the 'FPS vs everything else question' and ban together for gamers rights.

Sure some people will say this type of action is foolish or childish, just as people did about the whole ME3 thing, but the reality is that even if this game is not your type of game it is a popular game. It has enough fans behind i...

I generally don't buy used games either, but just because something doesn't hurt me doesn't mean I am okay with it. Every time we turn around game companies are plotting something new that benefits game companies while hurting gamers.

I try to keep an open-mind and look at both sides of the picture. I even try telling myself that more profits will lead to better games, but I don't really believe that at all. The reality is that a few top executives at gam...

Agreed and I sort of suspect that if this rumor proves to be true it is companies like EA who are behind it. I can totally imagine them putting pressure on Sony and MS to do this. But I hope that I am wrong and this is just some nonsense cooked up by wannabe journalist to get website hits.

If this isn't true Sony needs to step up and say so. The longer gamers are left to wonder the more upset they will become. Hope they put this rumor to rest quickly.

Agreed, every time I see an article talking about this almost every comment is against it. But are we really surprised that a game journalist is trying to brainwash us to believe it is a good move?

Seriously gaming really needs a new breed of game journalist to replace these game company ass kissers.

I generally keep all my games too, but that doesn't mean I want to give up a basic consumer right to sale my games if I decided that I wanted to do so.

In fact since talk of this started I am actually considering going through my game collection and putting some up for sale just because I can!

I don't buy many used games, but I occasionally decide to pick up a game long after it was released and is no longer available new. In those rare cases I have no choice but purchase used, and if that was no longer an option I would be very bothered.

Aside from that, this just feels wrong to me on so many levels, and I think it could be a deciding factor in the next console wars if it turns out that one console does this and another does not.

As someone w...

I am not interested in the MP, and I am pretty much over ME3 anyway, so I'll be passing on this one.

"Vanilla with green icing marked with an “A,” vanilla with blue icing marked with a “B,” and vanilla with red icing marked with a “C.”

Of course, it won’t matter which cupcake a BioWare employee chooses, they all taste the same. An homage of sorts to Mass Effect 3‘s endings."

I am kinda over this whole ending nonsense, but I couldn't help but giggle at this^

Thanks for letting me know. I was curious, because although I don't normally trade in my games I have a lot that I have never even touched and probably never will, so I was thinking maybe it might be time to start.

What games did you trade in? How many?

I would not mind playing $70 for a game if they cut back on the DLC nonsense. Just charge everyone $70 and sale us complete games. If they want to make a little extra with DLC do it ONLY as expansion DLC, because I don't mind DLC that comes out a couple of months later and expands on the story, but I do mind DLC that makes you feel like it was pulled from the main story so it could be sold separately.

I don't really care about the ending anymore. I just hope that the outcome of all the controversy leads to game companies trying harder. I think that is my bottomline - it is time for game companies to try harder.

As for BioWare I am on the fence. Going into ME3 they were one of my favorite game companies, now not so much. On the other hand I am willing to wait and see what direction they take in the future.

BioWare can certainly have their artistic vision. They don't need to change anything, HOWEVER, just because an artist creates something that they think is wonderful doesn't make it wonderful. Sure BioWare should make whatever games they want to make, just as long as they don't expect anyone to actually want to buy them.

And speaking of art... There are a lot of starving artists/musicians/screenwriter 's out there who might actually be a success if they were w...

Currently the poll to have the ending changed has over 60,000 (91%) people asking for a change. No matter if you loved or hated the ending you would have to be a total moron to deny that BioWare screwed up.

I hope that all of us 'idiots' will remember this day, we will remember comments made by websites such as this one, and we will never click on one of their links for any reason.

Does honest game journalism even exist anymore? This whole ME3 thi...

The impact??? Perhaps game companies will start thinking twice before releasing their games and do better.

Myself, I won't return ME3, because I enjoyed all but the last 10 minutes of it, but I still think that the option should be available for people who are truly dissatisfied with their purchase.

I honestly think that the return policies for games - in general - are totally unfair. I do understand that some gamers are sneaky jerks and if they could g...
