I hadn't heard that Mega Man was playable in this game until now. That's a seriously awesome bonus if it's true.
@rice: Mine used to do the same thing, but it turns out it was just because of the crappy Linksys stock firmware. If your router supports it, try installing DD-WRT or Tomato like Ruibing is using and you should notice a huge improvement.

@1.3: Ha! That was awesome. Bubbles.
Lol @ me. For a second there I thought that was Wolverine on the cover of the Harvey Birdman game. Need coffee...
Anyway, this is a terrible week for PS3/360 owners. I wonder if Ice Hockey for wii will be good. The old one for NES with the fat guy, the skinny guy and the medium guy was awesome. All you old f*ckers know what I'm talking about.
Actually the PS3 does support .wma files.
Does anyone else find it weird that DMC is so big over there? Considering the types of games most Japanese gamers seem to like DMC just doesn't seem like it would be their style. I guess the story is just off the wall enough to make up for the western style of play.
Seems a little sketchy, but hey, that's why they call it a rumor. Could be good news for wii fans.
I thought the demo was crap. I'm surprised that it scored as well as it did. Maybe it could be fun for kids.
Sort of a stupid lawsuit, but people will so over anything nowadays. Most of the time it works too. What a sleazy way to get rich.
On a somewhat related topic, does anyone know if you can playback quicktime vids on a Zune?
@Boink: Agreed. Kotaku isn't really meant to be a "serious" gaming blog. It's meant to be funny. I'm a Sony fanboy and I never really had a problem with any of their reporting. I like that they have a staff member now devoted solely to banning douchebags from the site. It used to be even better because you had to audition to comment there so if you couldn't spell or if you were an @sshole you couldn't even open an account.
I assumed it was meant to be humorous. A while back Kotaku published an article about how Ready At Dawn software said they wanted to move away from the PSP for a while and develop for a home console. They titled the article "Ready At Dawn totally Hates PSP". Obviously they were just joking, but a lot of people got all upset about how biased the title was. I think it's the same case with this article. Kotaku doesn't give a sh!t about the format wars, McWhertor was just trying to be f...
@rofldings: I remember that story. Then all the xbox fanboys were saying that it was meaningless and it didn't necessarily mean that the posting was for a programmer for Bioshock PS3. Of course it probably was meaningless in the end, but why should this be any different?
It's the Okama Gamesphere!
MS working on a sequel for their next console. Jesus, that's a bit much. The original xbox still had plenty of life in it when thy decided to ditch it and move on to the 360. The games were just starting to look noticeably better than the competition (PS2), so what did they do? Dumped the console and released a new $400 machine. Looks like their winding up to do it again.
I wonder what Japanese publisher Sony is teaming with...Square might be to much to hope for.
It's been a while, but I thought Tenpenny betrayed him and killed him...or maybe it was C.J.. Either way, I'm pretty sure he died.
Jesus god those are some good numbers for the wii. Must be a supply thing. So I'm assuming Christmas isn't a big deal in Japan...why the increases across the board this month?
Wow. That's almost 4 million pieces of gaming hardware moved in one week worldwide.
I'm a bit of a Sony fanboy myself, but I don't see where you're getting this 2:1 ratio from. They sold 1.3 times as many PS3's. That's far from 2:1.
Sweet. I never tried the first one, but I heard it was pretty cool.
Wow. That was the goddamn coolest thing I have ever seen in my life. Awesome.
