Rein, Jaffe and Barlog come to mind too...and the girl that produced Assassin's Creed. What was her name? Jade something?
Of course we only know them because we're gaming nerds.
Looks decent for $40. Could be something my GF would enjoy playing with me. Anyone try this on 360?
Lol. Remember FPS games on the Dreamcast? You had to move and strafe with the face buttons. That took some getting used to. Weird thing was, that was years after the original dualshock came out.
Lame. I wouldn't mind getting some of those inverted ps3 triggers, but these are just weak.
@2.2: Rockstar Tennis involved two guys standing in an empty room with a table between them. Of course the graphics were sharp. GTA 4 has an entire living, breathing city. Looks damn impressive if you ask me.
edit: @fishyfingers: Woops. Didn't see your comment up there. Looks like you beat me to it.
Damn straight. The smoke effects looked better than COD: 4.
Looks like crap to me, but they're good screens for anyone who's interested in the game.
Interesting. I thought the Riddick game was just supposed to be a remake of "Escape From Butcher Bay" for the new consoles.
Awesome. I was there for the midnight launch of San Andreas and I'll be there for this one. Might have to call in sick on that day.
If that's real...well I don't know what to say. Thompson is sick. Something's wrong with his brain.
I don't see why a slightly stripped down version wouldn't run on a wii, but the motion controls don't really lend themselves to a mostly 2d (from the side) fighting game.
Hope it's a new Resistance trailer.
I tried the Echochrome demo off the Japanese store. It's cool once you get the hang of it. I'll probably pick it up when it's released.
Granted it's not the most original idea, but then again the core concept of Rock Band is just a rip off of what Guitar Hero did in the first place. Then again, The company that created Guitar Hero made Rock Band. Then again, Activision has been publishing it all along...and Red Octane must have had something to do with it...then there's Singstar to consider.
Okay, I'm confused now. Who's ripping who off?
There was "Juiced", but let's face it, that sucked. This game is looking slick, though. I loved the earlier ones except gor all the slowdown in 3.
That's cool and all, but does anyone know what mmo's these guys have made in the past?
The people at Epic make some good points there regarding dev time for maps, etc. I can't help but wonder why the guy was banned from the Epic forums, though.
It's kinda hard to find a Best Buy in eastern Canada. I wonder if Future Shop is doing the same since Best Buy owns them.
@9.1: Lol. Nice.
I remember the only time I ever waited in line for a game on opening day was for San Andreas. There was a big enough line, but it was nothing compared to the lines for Halo 2 on it's opening day (so I hear).
GTA:4 may outsell Halo 3 after a few months if it turns out well on both consoles, but I doubt if the opening day will be that huge.
My hopes do go with GTA as I really do prefer the series, but both series are bound to sell a buttload of copies either way. Game ...
Ha Ha Ha. That's a fitting revenge for R*.
