Same with Resistance, but it's not a huge studio so they might not have people to spare with production on R2 in full swing. I'm sure they'll get around to it soon. Maybe if that new Ratchet product is an add-on it will come with trophy support.

You'l have to double check on google, but I suspect it needs to be in a PS3 folder or something.

@the hater. I heard you shouldn't change the RPM when you upgrade your hard drive. You say it's working better at 7200rpm?

Lol. I had just copied that quote and I was going to post it on here. Like WTF? Screw that a$$hole and his stupid website. If he's such a hardcore gamer he should be off chasing achievements instead of wasting our time with his BS articles.

Well I haven't had any problems with it either, but I think it's safe to say that "something" is wrong. They wouldn't pull the update if there wasn't some sort of problem with it. Fanboys can make stuff up all they want, unless there's an actual problem Sony woud not have pulled 2.4 off the servers.

I'm glad they used the good Robin outfit without any green on it.

@ucantbanme: You're kidding right? I like Marvel and all, but the majority of the Marvel stable is relegated to New York City. Marvel characters with the exception of Hulk are just regular people who happen to have super powers. DC heroes are gods.

Well I don't know if it's run by Sony or Insomniac, but it's definitely a Resistance 2 site. The web address was first leaked because it was visible in some scans from a Resistance 2 article that made the front page yesterday. Also you can see the Resistance logo on the test pamphlet.

I hope all you guys who signed up don't get spammed. Hopefully Insomniac's above that kind of nonsense. Maybe they'll just Rick-roll you.

Well they must be pretty confident in their game then. That's a good sign.

Sweet! That's the new worst story I've ever seen on the front page at N4G.

Sounds like somebody got in trouble...

Wonder if he still has a job?

I don't know if hardware profits are that high on Sony's list of priorities this gen. MS went 6 years in the console business before they turned a profit and now it's paying off. Sony will give us a price cut before Christmas. They spent all last year getting crapped on by MS and Nintendo and I don't think they liked it.

Thought I should post this here since there will be some adventure fans looking at the post. For anyone that doesn't know "Beneath a Steel Sky" was released as freeware a few years ago. It's an awesome game that used the scumm system. It can be downloaded legally along with scummvm (sort if an emulator for old scumm dos games) here:

http://www.scummvm.org/down...

Enjoy.

@Lumbo: And they get pissed at you if you mess with their pet rat. Those guys were funny.

The last one was kind of lame after they abandoned the scumm system. Maybe if they made an old school Monkey Island style game for Live and PSN. That would be awesome.

I wonder if this system will look over our old save games and hand out trophies for things we already accomplished. I hardly want to beat Resistance on hard again or complete every memory in Assassin's Creed.

It would be hard to maintain something like that. There are at least a few new maps every day, a couple of mutators every week, new character all the time. Plus most of the realy good content violates some sort of copyright. I'm sure they'll release a few user created map packs for free, though. Sort of a best of the best type of thing. That's better than nothing I suppose.

You know the PS3 has 4 player co-op over a network right?

Edit: Oh and let's not forget the millions upon millions upon millions of dollars they make licensing UE3 to PS3 devs.

6411d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

You know what? Selling off those thousands upon thousands of refurbs they have lying around is actually a good idea. I'd pay $200 for one of those. Now $300, that's just rape, but $200 would be nice.
