Hey, it's better than nothing.
Misleading title. For a second I thought Nintendo was establishing it's own nation in the former New Zealand.
Well, including some higher res, pre-rendered cutscenes isn't exactly what I'd call "taking advantage of the hardware", but at least they're putting some effort into this port. Can't wait to try the game everyone was raving about all this time.
Sounds like a Last Guy port for PSP.
Hopefully they get those PSN cards out before this game drops so we can all enjoy it.
I was hoping we could at least run some wildlife down with the Jeep. No dice I guess.
It's pointless, but at least it's well put together.
Really, though, it all comes down to how many bosses Mega Man beat before he ran into Samus.
I certainly hope that's not the case. As an old school Sonic fan (Sonic 1 was one of the first 16 bit video games I played) I think that would be blasphemy. Not unlike putting a sword in the hands of Mario.
I think this game is going to melt some faces when it releases. It's good that they aren't overhyping too much.
I think this sucks. I don't want people to start charging for content. What happened to play, create, *share*? It's play, create, sell now?
This will completely ruin the game if true.
Edit: Just saw nbnt's comment...so...what he said.
Some of those screens look nicer than anything else I've seen from the game. The last two are still kind of weak unfortunately.
At least we know not all the weapons in the game are futuristic now. That machine gun the guy's holding looks bad@ss.
It's supposed to be using Google Maps somehow.
So now we'll probably get voice activated controls in addition to waggle. Nintendo's on a quest to eliminate those pesky "buttons" once and for all.
Maybe they'll get their own version of Sega's Seamen or Tom Clancy's Endwar.
PSU should be fine now according to this story:

...but I linked directly to gametrailers.com just to ease everyone's worries. :)
That's really weird. It's a bummer that the game has been delayed, but I wonder what the problem could be? No "region" he says...
If he hadn't said it was a technical issue I would have guessed he was referring to a licensing problem with the sountrack.
Right. They should hire more guys like you.
Sony's going to advertise something? Nice.
I don't know poeo. I haven't played any PC games in a while, but I do remember being legitimately challenged by Half-Life in a few spots. The same could be said for Quake 1 and 2, Duke Nukem 3d, Max Payne. Pretty much all the old PC games I used to play and I'm fairly certain they all allowed you to save whenever you wanted.
Besides if the only thing that's making a game challenging is long check points, then the devs haven't really done their job.
Well I hope your right. Not that it really affects me anyway. I guess it all depends on how they use this thing in the future.
Wicked avatar BTW.
Killzone 2 and "incredible adrenaline rush"!!!
Lol.
I'm as excited about KZ2 as the next guy, but that quote comes from one of the developers of the game. It's meaningless.
