@scottie2521: You know I actually saw some guy whining about having to put in a game disc when he gets an invite in another thread.
This may sound like I'm being a jerk, but trust me I don't mean it that way. I'm really just wondering. Honestly.
What's up with people that own like 3 xbox 360's or 2 PS3's or whatever? I've got one PS3 (which I love) and even if I was completely loaded and I could buy anything I want, another PS3 would be the last thing on my list. So why do people want more than one?
So they released some FREE extra content for their game and we're supposed to be upset about it?
Gardner? Really?
@Old_Snake: Yup. That was the joke.
He was sweet in the JLU cartoon. He had to lop off his hand to save his kid so he replacd it with a sweet hook.
I wanna see Green Arrow and the Manhunter.
Harlequin? Do you mean Harley Quinn or is that someone different?
edit: Good call about Nightwing.
Actually since Raiden's powers could be considered "magic" he'd be one of the few people who could really do some damage to Superman.
It's a good list, but come on...no Primal Rage?
There's nothing wrong with that at all. I agree that devs could be getting more out of the wii and if they expect to get gamer's hard earned money they need to step up their game. Guess we got off topic here, but what I was getting at was that Nintendo should at least include another wii-mote and nunchuk in the box with these things. $250 gets you a console that would have blown the competition out of the water LAST gen. They were making profit off these things the day they hit the market. Th...
The wii has a slightly more advanced GPU running at 243 mhz vs the xbox's 233 mhz GPU, a slightly more advanced, but comparable CPU and an extra 24 megs of ram. Yippee.
It hardly has any storage space and apparently it has issues with pixel shading. So yes, it's a little more powerful than an xbox, but where exactly is your $250 going when you buy one of these things?
I don't wanna dis the wii, but it's really no more powerful than an xbox and it has less storage too.
@jadenkorri: My brother in law accidentally hanged himself. He was around 8 years old at the time. He had down syndrome. His parents were very upset.
Accidental hanging. That's awful. If anyone wants to make any tasteless jokes, just picture yourself walking into yours son/nephew/little brother's room and finding him hanging from his tie. What kind of sick f**k sensationalizes a story like this?
I'm sure if they let people go it was for a good reason. It's not like poor little Lucasarts can't afford to pay a few extra devs until September. Maybe they're ahead of schedule.
You're absolutely right, but I'm assuming they already thought of that. Maybe they know something we don't about Sony and Microsoft's plans for the future?
I believe you about the e-mail. I used to have a job answering questions like that for a telecom company. It looks like a generic "no announcements have been made" answer. Doesn't mean they won't bring them to the states. We used to have to tell people who wanted to know if we were getting the iphone that no announcements have been made and they should keep checking the website. That was all a load of BS of course so keep your hopes up.
Technically it did, but it's all stuff that the other stores got already.
Bah. I *just* installed Hardy. Think I'll wait for the next LTS release. It's getting to the point where I setup a working Ubuntu installation with all of my favorite software while simultaneously removing the crap I don't like in around an hour. Took me like a month (or more) to get things working right the first time I tried Linux.
