@Torch: I played this game on the original Xbox and on the PS3 and the load times were only a problem on the PS3. I'm assuming these guys just needed more time to get their heads around streaming off Blu-Ray so hopefully they'll have it worked out in the 4th game.
Deathstroke is a cool choice, but no Green Arrow and no Nightwolf means no buy from me. Tons of characters and tons of gore have always been the selling points for MK games. It's not like the fighting system has any real depth or anything. Why would anyone buy a toned down MK with fewer characters than like the last 5 games?
Fishy, I think the PSN numbers are a little inflated because the majority of people will have more than one account. I have one in each region for the PS stores and I switched my PSN a while back so that's another one. Lot's of people have more than one person per household that likes to play too.
Your point still stands, though. There are tons of people on PSN.
Everyone loves to prophesize the PSP's doom. Ever since it was released it was all doom and gloom. Then last year everyone was singing its praises for around a week when it got a GOW game then it was all back to the doom and gloom speak.
The PSP game isn't going anywhere. It only really started picking up steam around 2 years ago and it's been doing just fine ever since. It also has the distinction of being the only handheld *ever* to put any sort of dent in Nintendo's market sha...
Pushing up the release date could be a very good sign, but I hope they're not rushing it out the door so it can squeeze in a few sales before the heavy hitters start coming out in November.
I enjoyed the demo, but it doesn't seem like the game could really hold my attention for long.
I hope all these comparisons to Ready 2 Rumble will stop once the game hits the market. Apart from some visual similarities, the two games are nothing like on another.
I kinda liked Guitar Hero 3 better. Maybe it was just because of the crappy Rock Band guitar. Hopefully the instruments with the new game are a little better.
Chrome will have adblocker because it's open source. Legally they can't stop anyone from doing whatever the hell they want with the software so long as any changes are made publicly available. That means add-ons are coming sooner than you think.
Before anyone calls me out on the legality of google stopping development on an add-on like adblocker, go read up on the latest draft of the GPL.
As far as gmail and google docs not working, that's BS because I've been on my ...
The Crater kicks @ss. Not as much as the Omage factory, but it's still better than most of the maps in the game. The real treat, of course, is the jetpacks.
Remember when we were all going on about how awesome parachutes would be? Psssh. They did us one better with Fallen Star. Jet packs breathe new life into the game. Everyone go get this now. Or if you're lucky like me, maybe some kind soul will share it with you over PSN.
I'd like to be able to update my media server when I add something new to the playlist rather than going through the whole "searching for new media servers" process every time.
XMB access from DVDs and Blu-Rays would be nice too.
Of course none of that is exactly system breaking.

Great series btw.
Why is lightsaber control like the holy grail of wii-mote usage? Surely there are other cool things we could be doing with a wii.

Jesus god! Forum dwellers on the main page? Is that a pig flying by my window?

I was never crazy about Hamill's joker. He had his moments, but he never really sounded evil.
Because you touch yourself at night. That's why. ;)

So people really enjoy this game, eh? Guess I just don't see the appeal.

Screw that trendy Apple POS. Go get yourself a nice N96 or something.
I wonder if we'll be seeing her again in her own game?

Just hit triangle on one of the files and you'll be given the option to delete/copy multiple files. Easy.
I like how this is called "My *Valid* Complaints About Too Human".
Like anything this guy says is completely valid, but all those other reviewers just don't know what they're talking about. Sure...
Edit: At least he wasn't being completely serious.
