Todd's a first class douchebag, but he lost 14 million dollars (I think) because he named a character in his comic after a sports hero of his. You gotta feel bad for the guy. He just used his name for crying out loud. It was supposed to be a compliment.

That's actually how I got mine. Traded in a PS2, Gamecube and around 20 games at Gamestop. That was back when PS3s were still backwards compatible and they cost around $600. It wouldn't really make sense to do it now that PS3s don't play PS2 games, but I guess it would be nice to have the option.

I'll let that slide if you never played Half-Life 1 or if you never played it until recently when a lot of it's inovations have been copied by other games. When that game launched it was most definitely something special.
I'm not even excited about Duke Nukem Forever anymore. They missed their chance.
I was a hardcore Duke fan back in the day. Even built a few awesome levels with the old "Build" engine. Then they announced a sequel using the original Unreal engine like 15 years ago.

Black was on the PS2 as well, but it looked like sh!t compared to the Xbox version. Same goes for all the Burnout games.
I couldn't think of any exclusives at the time, but I guess Farcry fits the bill. That game would not have been possible without some serious compromise on the PS2.
I'm not dissing the PS2. I loved it, but the xbox clearly had a lot of life left in it when MS ditched it. More life than the PS2 and look how that thing is still selling.
MS dropped support for the xbox way to early. The big black box was just starting to really show it's superiority to the PS2, graphically anyway. Games like Black and Burnout on the xbox completely trashed anything else available at the time. Then MS up and drops support for it what, like 2 or 3 years after we all spent $400 on the stupid thing? Jerk move IMO. I wish more companies were still supporting it.

I don't know much about the game, but I hear it's good and it's good to see any quality software doing well on the wii.
The problem isn't the amount of shovelware being produced for the wii. I mean that's to be expected with any runaway success. The problem is the amount of uninformed people buying all the shovelware and ignoring quality titles like this.
Hopefully Boom Blox has legs otherwise why would anyone other than Nintendo bother making a quality game anymore?
Maybe they'll adapt this tech with integrated mics to make the new controllers for the X720.
