They are haters, always swayed by the latest hype and $$$.
Well anyways, serious props to Insomniac for being truly honest on the situation, both in regards to R&C and Resistance. You don't see too many devs acting like that now days.
Sure it would be nice if the prices were generally lower, but it's how long that they stay at those high ($50 +) prices that really bother me. Take COD4 for example: A 2 year old game that STILL costs $50 for the GOTY Edition.
What utter BS.
Yesterday, I took a look at all the games I NEED to get before the year ends (Uncharted 2, Borderlands, Assassins Creed II, Ratchet and Clank, Demon's Souls, The Saboteur, etc etc etc.) and I realized how overwhelmed I was with games.
But Ratchet and Clank is definitely near the top of my priority list!
Sure it's a good time to be a gamer, but it's a GREAT time to be a PS3 gamer.
"-System still isn't cheap
-Game prices are high
-System takes up the most space (particularly for those like me who still own the first generation fat one)"
Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. ALL of these points are invalid. The system costs the same as the 360 model that most gamers will want to get, game pricing in the SAME between 360 and PS3, and has this guy ever heard of the Slim? It is the smallest system between the too.
All...
It is utopia.
That isn't the point of this article. It's a comment on gamers as a whole, about how we are so self-absorbed into arguing over which game is best, which system is best, but we forget the issues that matter. The real life issues.
You totally missed the point. Judging by that one comment of yours, YOU are the kind of person that should take this article to heart.
EDIT: @Below: I see your point, but still, sometimes we all just need a reminder of what the true reality ...
They are eating their words right now. Sony is on a roll, one that I expect to continue well into Christmas time.
Let's face it, with the PS3 and 360 evenly priced, you're simply getting more value for your money out of the PS3.
"Greenberg adds that success comes down to "much more than just hardware sales..."
...And that is exactly where Sony has Microsoft beat. It may not be in 1st place in terms of sales, but it is certainly 1st place in terms of quality games and "investment in the future."
PR fail.

Ah, I've been waiting forever for a 3D Tropico. However, when I saw the first screenshots and information, I was a bit skeptical whether this would come out worse off than its isometric predecessors or gimmicky. Fortunately, it looks like it hasn't!
Gotta love it though, years and years of waiting and in the end my PC won't be able to handle this thing. :(
Yeah, I didn't think of that before. Bleh, I can wait a bit. There's so many other games to hold my attention, that MW2 will end up being one of those "I'm bored and need a game to play" impulse purchases during the summer drought.
The PSP-3000 is still around and fully supported; if you don't like the Go, buy the 3K instead. It's an ALTERNATIVE for the people who want to go fully DD (hmmm... wasn't DD the 'big thing' last year anyways, what happened to that, huh?), not a REPLACEMENT for the older PSPs.
Totally forgot about AC II. I'll try to get that and Uncharted these coming months. Modern Warfare can wait till it's in the bargain bin.
I mean, I understand and am totally fine with TLOD, but damn, there looks to be so much content in this that for the first time I truly feel like Rockstar only put out half of the game on the PS3.
I mean, I know that it would have been impossible to get this stuff in the game in time for release, but wow, have fun with this one 360 owners. Tanks, parachutes, etc. etc. etc., this is how GTA should have been.
I saw this on LiveLeak a couple of days ago... how is it at all related to gaming? It's like me coming home to find my household items strewn everywhere and blaming Sackboy for it. Ridiculous.
So please, someone enlighten me.
Yamauchi: I see what the competition is doing and learn from it.
Turn 10: We r teh best LOLZ!!!
Over-exaggerated, maybe, but the devs do have vastly different attitudes, and it shows in the games. With the amount of honesty and passion coming from PD, GT5 will outshine every other console racing sim this gen.
I guessed which one was Forza 3 and which one was Forza 2... I was wrong. The fact that I thought F3 was F2 is just plain sad (and for the game, not me).
Note to Turn 10: If you're going to run your mouths day and night about this game, at least deliver on what you are saying. Because as it stands, this is just pathetic.
...this is pretty hilarious. I'm keeping a running total of people who comment that "the screens are too small." We're up to 5 or 6, after the last few articles from this website. :D
Uh, guys... He's right. Name one console sim racer that released/releases this year that can beat Forza 3... I can't think of any.
@GWAVE above me: No, it was not the only racing sim released this year. I do agree with you in many (most) aspects, but considering that my position on Forza should be known, and bashing it any more would be redundant, I decided to leave such things out of my comment. :D
You REEK of jealousy. The fact that you are both a known troll commenting first in a GT article and bringing up Forza, while getting incredibly defensive proves it.
Even if you weren't a troll, comparing a TIMED DEMO to two full games makes you lose all credibility.
