It's a typo. There is no currently announced release date. All we have so far is "early 2010."
...And Dream Stripper... And Garbage Compacter Simulator?
Seriously.
Totally unnecessary? Or has Sony/PD done something I don't know about, because I'm pretty happy with what GT Mobile (and to a lesser extent, the Go) is shaping up to be so far.
Anyways, looks like my PSP will be getting A LOT of use soon. Props to PD for managing something this ambitious on a handheld.
The DS and iPhone... well, just no.
The PSP is basically a mini PS2, so it really is a unique handheld in the fact that you CAN get a (near) console experience out of it.
EDIT: Cool, I had never heard of the Pandora before.
First use of head tracking on a console? Finally my poor little PS Eye can get some use!
This is the kind of stuff that makes PD stand out from the rest. While others are content to just add a few new cars and tracks and give a bit of a graphics update, PD goes the extra mile. And they remain humble and classy while doing it.
Nice.
What could these ads possibly have ANYTHING to do with the PS3? Totally random.
Also, major LOL at the thumb penis.
Well that is debatable. I personally took "variations" to literally mean variations of existing tracks. You could be right, but that would be a very strange way for Kaz to word it.
*20 locations around the world
*70 circuits variations
I'm still iffy about this. I mean, there are already 6 tracks in Prologue. Add in Le Mans, Nurburgring, Indianapolis, Tuscany, Top Gear, and Madrid (not sure on that one, but I read somewhere that it is confirmed)... That leaves us with only 8 uncomfirmed tracks? Test Track is bound to make it, so bump that down to 7.
Now I don't know about any of you, but 7 is nowhere near enough for the content in the g...
*woosh*
That is the sound of Guardian's sarcasm going over your head.
It will satiate the idiots who proclaim "XXX didn't actually play the game!" when you can clearly see that XXX did.
Or the other way around, reviewers will want to make sure they get everything they can out of the game, because readers will be able to see if they don't... And that wouldn't end well for the reviewer. Especially here at N4G. :)
That is one UGLY controller... And it's MadKatz, so you know that it will be built like sh*t.
Seriously, why do people still buy from them? The majority of their products are terrible.
He's not saying that it's a piece of cake. He's saying that just because it CAN be done doesn't mean it SHOULD. Kaz is a perfectionist, remember? If the development time left doesn't allow for it to be just the way he wants it, it's not going to happen.
Although I would say that even if weather can't be included, PD should at least attempt to put in a day-night cycle for the endurance races. Nothing more annoying (and boring) than racing for 24 hours of day time. Night is when yo...
How come when Turn 10 released all the Forza bullshots, nobody questions it and accepts that the game will look like that during gameplay (even though it is clear that it doesn't). But with GT, EVERY single shot or video is labeled as "CGI" or "not in game."
It's a bunch of crap.
OT: Freaking great shots... I'm BARELY going to be able to survive the wait until March.
Hey, he never ruled out PSN games, so it's fair play.
Good luck with that.
:)
I thought Ferrari Challenge had decent physics, and Shift looks to put up a good fight.
And don't even get started on the comparison to PC sims. NOTHING on a console (neither GT5, Shift, or Forza) can come close to the realism depicted on the PC sims.
It's really arrogant statements like these that make me dislike Turn 10.
WHAT HIGHLY ADVANCED PHYSICS. IT'S ALMOST TO THE LEVEL OF REALISM OF BURNOUT, AMAZING!
Kidding, but seriously... that 3rd vid was just sad.
If Forza just had some damn AA, it would look a lot better. But as it stands at the moment... bleh.
Hopefully the demo is an old-old build, because believe it or not, I want it to be a good game. Friend with 360 + Forza = Many nights of great racing, enough to tide me over until GT5.
Sorry, I thought I was on N4G, not LiveLeak.
>.<
My problem with the campaign was the open world. Having to back track across the map, only to lose your vehicle and walk instead = No fun.
