I don't know about you, but I'd rather have concrete knowledge that an exclusive is coming rather than be left to sit and wonder if it even exists at all. People are just too impatient and in need of immediate gratification. It's a shame.
Downside? That's a bit of an understatement. No matter what, you should NEVER have to move around your TV just for one small device to work. What about those with gigantic HDTVs? Hahaha, the screenshots aren't even close to being similar. How the website believes in any way that this is a "comparison" is beyond me. They just took a random shot from Prologue and a random shot from GT5 and put them over each other. Fail.

Just further proof of how damn stupid fanboys are, and that goes for both sides of the fence. Fact of the matter is, Move is doing well. Kinect may do well if it manages to get some decent games and hardware kinks worked out. Everyone who is in the market for motion controls wins. End of story. No need to be so damn pathetic about it.
They can't release it with a day-0 patch because they have to think about all the people who will buy the game that may not have their PS3 hooked up to the internet. It wouldn't be fair that those people are stuck with a broken game from the onset just because of that.

I was about to mention this. $149 for a mediocre game and some plastic night vision goggles no better than those you can find at Toys R Us for $20? Ridiculous. You could buy a DS Lite for cheaper than that. Stupidity at its finest.
I would love to be wrong, but I seriously doubt that the game will be released before Black Friday. Even with the disks being stamped, Sony still has to pump out the advertising and work out the massive logistics required in shipping all of the disks to the stores. I'd say that the best bet at the moment would be early to mid December.

They said they *expected* to, not that they *would*. And if there's one thing we all should have learned, it's not to expect the expected. Still would be a disappointment if we have to wait through November for a new announcement, as all of this footage and newish information is making me wish I had the game in my hands more than ever!
Yeah, this is real and it confirms that the game is being shipped around the world to retailers as we speak. Which makes it all the more frustrating that we have no release date because at this rate we'll have shelves full of GT5 copies sitting in storerooms doing nothing, when we could be playing them, because Sony has failed to get their act together!
