WHY should there be any controversy?
what the eff is so controversial about a videogame with some homosexuality in it? ohh yeah i forgot, a lot of people are still stuck in their medieval ways of thinking.

i wish they would release this on the PS3, such a shame... it's just too unfair to all the millions of fans who bought the game on this particular platform.
i just finished the game last night, played on Veteran difficulty with a friend... it was definitely A LOT of fun. just the right amount of challenge, we really had to strategize and play carefully in the later levels. some boss fights were really awesome too.
but overall the game is kind of a mixed bag... i think the co-op is absolutely excellent, probably the best co-op action game from Japanenese developers so far (?). but there are some issues, controls could be a bit better ...
you got it right, but maybe a bit too partial to certain genres :P (shmups, fighting games)
i think for example racing games can be very hardcore too, just try to complete everything in Wipeout HD...
ahh, seems like it will be the wise thing to do to wait and import the US version.
gonna play this game a lot during those dark autumn/winter evenings and nights here in Finland.
i'm so getting this... tired of games that offer me no challenge (looking at you Bioshock, Dead Space etc... no real challenge even on hardest difficulties)
i just let my gf play GTA: San Andreas for a while and that was it. she loved it.
now we mostly play horror games and LBP together. and demos of fighting/wrestling games, she always beats my ass LOL. it was horrible watching my character get destroyed in the UFC 2009 demo... my gf was ruthless. damn cheap button masher!
could that "orange" be a reference to The Orange Box? is Kojima a fan of Half-Life and/or Valve, does anyone know? if so, it could mean that there's some sort of a all-in-one package of MGS coming... 2 blu-ray re-release of MGS4 with the other MGS games on the other disc in full 1080p... or something. maybe a trophy/in-game music update to coincide with that too.

since when have completely unannounced games been considered "AAA"? seems nonsensical to me... and if 1 out of 4 is potentially "AAA" (i dont like this term), thats not good for the other 3 games is it? dooming them to be something less before we've even seen them.
i'm interested in that 1 out of 4 game though, i hope it's something amazing.
i thought it was a great game.
technically it was excellent, superb graphics for a PS2 game and all-around it just felt really polished. also liked the music quite a bit.
story i dont even remember much though... but thats the case with almost every FF game for me. i dont play them for the story, i play them mainly for the exploration, beautiful scenery, music, addictive gameplay... i dunno, i might be a bit strange like that.
if they show it at E3, i want the camera to pan towards the audience after the trailer so we can see all the jaded old gaming journalists weep tears of joy.
never has a TRAILER for a videogame made me this close to shedding a tear. and im a f*cking 26 year old man.
but im not ashamed, i have been waiting a game to REALLY impress me this gen and this is it. this is f*cking it.
the sense of mystery and awe... things that videogames really should strive for... is missing in so many games. not here.
only thing that needs work are the textures on the boy. everything else already looks absolutely mind-blowing, especially the animations and art design... OMFG.

i'm absolutely loving the games Sony is putting out on PSN nowadays... this year i've bought:
Flower (simply beautiful)
Noby Noby Boy (cheap, worth it just for the lulz)
Astro Tripper (again a cheap game, very fun and satisfying with easy gold trophies :P)
Lumines Supernova (addicting as hell)

LOVED waking up to this. Fallout 3 on PS3 is my favorite game this gen, and yes i have LBP, MGS4, COD4, GTA4 etc, and they're fantastic games, but THIS is the one game that kept me entertained and immersed during those dark winter nights. over 150 hours of exploration and fun combat for me in that game. NOTHING can beat that.
and as for other PS3 fans dissing Bethesda... you should remember they released also one of the best games this, Oblivion, as one of the first and few super...
