i cant wait until all this sh*t unfolds. i want to know who to blame for the whole disaster. and it is a disaster, many people have waited for this game half their lives... and get nothing for it.
games are way too easy nowadays, lately i've beaten Dead Space on Impossible, Bioshock on Survivor, KZ2 on Veteran... and only KZ2 proved to be genuinely challenging (the last level was just a biiiit too hard for me though, died like 65 times LOL).
i mostly blame the ability to save anywhere (Bioshock..), or the game being too generous with ammo (Dead Space). saving anywhere especially just ruins it for me, because as a neurotic person i end up saving the game every 5 minutes and...
i wasnt sure about this game, i had some serious doubts... but then of all things, i read the Eurogamer review (9/10) and it totally convinced me to get this game at some point. and we all know how Eurogamer can be pretty harsh in their reviews...

just go read the review now, i'm 100% sure that it will make you at least consider getting the game. all the co...
MGS4 cant be done on the 360, because Kojima would have to add achievements to the game. and he hates the whole idea of them, thats why we havent seen trophies on the PS3 yet... he pretty much said that he doesnt want people to play his games out of boredom or just for the trophies.
i'm not even sure myself if i'm joking here or not :D but that part is true about Kojima, that he does not like achievements/trophies (from what i've read).
i dont think Wipeout HD is a bad comparison, it is very advanced graphically... superb resolution (most of the time full 1080p, only dropping it dynamically sometimes to keep the framerate smooth), TRULY constant 60fps (COD4 has some drops here and there), and still has great textures (which COD4 certainly doesnt have).
but yeah, more things going on at once in COD games. still, Wipeout HD is at least as impressive technically (though sadly underrated).
sounds great, as i have personally not played enough co-op this gen yet. the only co-op experiences i have are RE5, LBP and Resistance 1 split-screen with my gf (was so fun :P)... so i'm definitely ready for more.
im actually one of the people who waited patiently for Bioshock to come on PS3, i was THIS close to buying a 360 for it... im glad i didnt. loved the game too.
i think it would be kind of pathetic if MGS4 was Microsoft's big announcement... i mean, thats not a new game. we've played that already, a year ago.
they have to have something new and exciting. my guess is a new Killer Instinct.
i think you're exaggerating... i havent noticed the same.
as for myself, i've always been somewhat interested in this, because i loved the movies when i was a kid. just because it's timed exclusive for Sony now where i live, doesnt change a thing. actually it kinda pisses me off, as i hate the idea of timed exclusives... even when it "benefits" me.
thanks, gotta keep an eye on those services.
i think i will have to finally upgrade my PC to play this. havent played on PC since 2004 (HL2)... i hope there will be a package deal for both ME1 and ME2 at some point.
i dont like so many bronze trophies. they're rarely a challenge so there's no satisfaction, and i already have like 400 bronzes... they are starting to just annoy me. why not have more silver and gold trophies? and make them a bit harder to get.
Baraka on blu-ray is even more amazing than Planet Earth. trust me. because i LOVE Planet Earth.
what the f*ck?
rape rulez? dont you have any shame young man? f*cking kids these days... hopeless.
the Xbox 360 footage of this game looks amazing, im glad if it's also coming to the PS3. it might turn out to be pretty good (i didnt like the first one though).
just dont do a 5gb install again, Capcom, please. it's unacceptable after KZ2, Uncharted etc running without an install. fix your damn engine.
alright then
yeah that HD footage on Gametrailers looks amazing, the only minor annoyance is the screentearing you can clearly see at some points. otherwise looks pretty CGI-ish.
maybe this will be start of us gamers being able to appreciate games that score in the 8s again? (i know most sensible people are this way, but im talking collectively)
not every game needs to score 9s or 10s to be fun... im sure most of us remember the days when even games that scored 6 or 7 could be totally awesome (Twisted Metal anyone?)
see what they've done to you? you had to buy the SAME GAME TWICE. doesn't that make you at least a little bit angry? maybe not an issue though if you have lots of money lol.
hmm these guys again... the games on the list are of course really old by now, i remember playing most of them but i have no idea if i actually beat any of them without cheats. i could SWEAR i beat Contra fairly though (Probotector in Europe). and i beat Bubble Bobble alone, but i think there was a cheat to skip right to the end boss...
*10 minutes passes*
now that i thought about it, i actually do remember pretty well getting my ass kicked by some of those games! ha...
