I disagree with including extra browsers. I mean Microsoft is simply including a complete package. When you buy anything, you don't want to get home and open the box and find you need to buy a power adapter to charge the battery, or a controller to play with, or an engine to drive.
When I buy a product, I want a fully functional product out of the box. In terms of Windows, I mean Browser, media player, word editor, movie player, etc.

The Wii NEEDS game demos because there are SO many crappy games out there, everyone is scared of buying a new game with the fear it'll be a dud.

Just buy a $350 Asus eeePC 1000he and put Mac OSX on it. It has a multi-touch touchpad and everything. Plus 9.5 hour battery life can't be beat.

Actually Blueray doesn't work that way either. Because of the super slow read times, developers have to place common files in multiple places across the disc or require a download to the system.
So character skins, common files, etc are duplicated on a Blueray disc as well unless they require a download. This is the reason why downloads are more common on PS3.
Now with that logic, SE could also require common files be downloaded on the 360 as well... but with some 3...

This is only because the iPhone has flicker support directly from their camera. Plus the amount of people who actually use flicker are roughly the same age range that get sucked into buying an iPhone.
So if the majority of people who use Flicker upload with their iPhone... doesn't mean they're cameras are better then any other brands phone. They just vote what they have. Perhaps they're biased towards their purchases.
