This is somehow the game I have put the most time into on my ps5 so far. It also convinced me to add a psvr2 and wheel, which I am both happy I have and angry I bought at the same time lol
Interestingly enough, in that big Xbox leak in September there was an email where they discussed trying to use the PS5 web browser to offer their games only to realize it was extremely bare bones

Wonder what partners he is referring to? It's probably Phil asking Satya for the money to buy Google
These might just be bots being run by users to level up faster or something and not bots set up by activision to fill lobbies
"Success for us is we can keep growing that content and services revenue double-digits. [...]. If we can grow faster than the market is growing, we are taking share in the gaming market.
And that's where we want to be. It's a 250 billion dollar market. We are not 250 billion dollars."
Their goal is a monopoly
Eh MachineGames has a solid track record so the game is probably in good hands. I more just wonder if the IP is even a big draw anymore. The last film was a box office bomb. Funny that the films directly influenced Tomb Raider and Uncharted and now the game is going to have to match up to those giants
LLL is targeting a 2024 release for PC and console. Hard to tell but looks sort of like The Division? Hope we can hear more on it soon. Interested to see how these first few AA/AAA games from Korean devs go
Starfield just came 18th in the players choice award for TGA. Below Honkai Star Rail. Starfield is the wrong game to point to there being this "xbox tax" nonsense
"When astronauts went to the moon there was nothing there. They certainly weren't bored"
This the most hilarious defense I've ever seen
My girlfriend had a PSN profile on my PS3 and one day I accidentally booted up GTA4 on her account before switching to mine. She never played the game herself. Thats the only scenario I can think of
It wasn't even the most important RPG for its release day
It will probably go down as more casuals get the game and dont finish or platinum it
@THEzRude
From the game director himself
In an interview with Edge (Issue 388), Alan Wake 2 game director Kyle Rowley discussed some of the upcoming game's spooky influences, pointing to the recent Resident Evil games as a good point of reference when it comes to creating eerie camera angles in the game.

AW2 is built on the foundational structures seen in RE2 remake
Its a good game but lets not get crazy here
Zelda may get dinged for being a lot of copy+paste
BG3 is "new" and dramatically expanded the cRPG audience
@obscure
Sony paid for marketing rights in 2021
Tencent didnt acquire a stake in shift up until late 2022
We may not know their exact financial situation but the deal with sony was made way before they had tencent's backing
Seems like the shakeup 343i had last year really helped to streamline the content pipeline they got going on
So when the next Xbox gets announced will we see tons of articles saying:
"Who is this even for?"
Then why is the Switch outselling the Xbox?
Engagement or total players is the only metric Microsoft makes public, which is why it is "news". I agree it has no meaning and it is impossible to make any judgments on the game's success based on this number in isolation
