Yeah its weird to think but the "Blizzard" we all know and love is from 15+ years ago
I mean MW3 always looked like it was going to be a rough and rushed cash grab just to make an annual release and to get out of the Sony contract. I think it was destined to get a low score regardless of the acquisition
Every chance they could
Only in Brazil
Swapping Eddie with Harry wouldn't change the issue with lack of focus, and would probably require more time away from Peter/Miles to explain Eddie.
The only part of the story that didn't really stick for me was Kraven. They didn't explain his motivation very well or even why he has superhuman strength, speed, etc. The only real backstory you get is from side missions, and I wish they had added some of that to the main story. There was one point where I thoug...
This is purely 100% decided by Activision. All achievements are decided by the publisher. The PC Steam Achievements are now listed under "Call of Duty" as a collective and not by individual title. The PS4 has a (pretty large) limit to how many trophies can be listed under a game which is probably why they had to split it. PS5 has no trophy limit so they can just cram it all in one spot
Its listed as DLC trophies under MW2. They're not even trying to hide what it really is
The destruction is awesome but a lot of the casual CoD crowd won't like the longer TTK in The Finals. I do see this being a very successful GaaS though
"If you take away 2-3 games (studio) or you take away 8-9 games (publisher), both of the situations are bad."
Buying a studio can allow them to bring new things to the industry. It increases their funding, letting companies like Housemarque go from Super Stardust to Returnal, Ninja Theory to (we assume) a bigger Hellblade, Playground to work on the next Fable, etc. Bethesda and ABK were already massive publishers in good financial states. Nothing was added to the ...
Street Fighter 6 came out 4 months ago. A new Monster Hunter is in the works. A new Dragons Dogma is in the works. As far as new IP they just released Exoprimal and have Path of the Goddess on the way. RE is also doing more than fine
I doubt theyre expecting DD2 to sell 10+ million copies. The only franchise they could reasonably expect to help make up the 22 million units theyre hoping for in the next 5 months is Monster Hunter. It took 11 years, an expansion, re-releases, and large price drops for DD1 to hit 7 million sold
No one said anything when Microsoft went on their first spree and bought Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Undead Labs, etc in 2018. We all know you know the difference between Ninja Theory and ABK. Please stop the bad faith arguments
Copy/Paste works for Madden and FIFA/EA FC despite those franchises having hit rock bottom critically for close to a decade. MW3 is basically proving they can sloppily put out nothing more than DLC and name it as a new entry and still top the sales charts.
You only need to pair it once, so unless you are installing the disc drive while on the cruise ship you'd be fine
I wish I could change how my compensation is decided too
On topic, the target is now Game Division Revenue growth. Pretty sure that Revenue is gonna look nice with COD added to the mix
I had 2 crashes and one instance where an enemy was shooting me from a spot outside the mission area and every time I zipped in to hit them the game made me zip back out. Other than that no issues and didn't detract much from the game (I've had more bugs/crashes with Baldurs Gate 3 for example). Obviously reviews are subjective but a 7/10 is a bit harsh
I dunno. When they run COD into the ground the FPS genre may at least become competitive again
Already came out that Jaffe was clickbaiting to sell people on buying some premium tier for his videos. His news was that a long time exec left after 34 years at Sony

Naughty Dog slander has gone a little too far in my opinion. TLOU2 was only 3 years ago. They remastered TLOU recently as well. A delay/cancelation of an MP game doesn't put them behind companies like Media Molecule or Bend in my opinion.
Because its Sonic, the only thing MS would do with it is run it into the ground at lightning speed rather than regular speed
