Kind of with Death here...He's not defending her but rather pointing out the triviality of this entire situation. Said corruption exists in every facet of humanity. If most people knew the inner-workings of global or even national politics they would cry themselves to sleep.

I'm sure this person and the industry at large are morally bankrupt, but it seems like directing attention towards her revitalizes the cycle. The industry as a whole obviously deserves some atten...

I agree. Also, the PS4 has no need to aim at competition when it's on a whole other playing field.

2) "Something that was much requested finally coming true":
Emulation! Doesn't say game. Why else would they release a grey PS4 and new theme?

1. TLG or other AAA reveal
2. Emulation Plans
3. U4 Gameplay
4. Level-5 Game
5. Titanfall (avec something new?)

Yeah I see that getting massive hype, but personally, I'm probably not going to buy it. I saw my roommates play it for a week and it pretty much fell off the radar after that. Besides... playing a shooter without a campaign (for me) is like dropping a deuce without toilet paper. It's all output...what happened to the game meeting me halfway?

No...rumours and even confirmations of unnanounced emulation plans have been in the works for awhile. This is a great time to announce those plans.

This was my guess awhile back and this SKU definitely points to that. I suppose we'll have PSone classics soon, but I think the PS2 BC will just be the few downloadable titles we saw last gen? I would love if they included PS3 remasters like the GoW collection and ICO and SotC. They did rumour that PS2 BC would happen though...hmmm... would love to not pay again and use my discs but that might be me being too hopeful.

I can highly recommend 3, but 2 is terrible with regard to the game mechanics. Stealth and traversal are garbage, your buddies are always getting themselves kidnapped and arbitrarily impeding your progress, and having malaria is just a pain in general. AND your weapons turn into rusty paper weights from WW2 way too quickly.

P.S. The stories are stand-alone although references to 3 appear in 4.

Oh and anyone notice that pseudo-anagram? FC3 is in Rakyat and FC4 is in Kyrat. Their way of drawing a comparison between the two most likely.

Yeah, I can't help but feel Ubisoft games are almost always cropped and trimmed down to fit a strict release schedule. The game could have used another year to flesh out the story and feel more like a sequel. The fatigue isn't on an AC or Marvel level, but if they release FC5 in two years with the same formulas, I won't be too impressed. I'm giving FC4 a free pass just because it's a well polished game among the broken promises that normally plague the start of a generatio...

I'm hoping for redemption with U4 and Bloodborne. The Order seems like more of a gamble because it's their first non-portable game. Could go south, but they still have time and the footage looks like amazing.

It's true. I've been playing mostly offline because online wasn't working so well for me. I've still had to re-do two levels because of bugs though. Kind of annoying but the game is still phenomenal and a more polished product than Unity.

Didn't touch it, but I feel like I'm going through multiplayer fatigue again. Played SP for years until Destiny and now I've relapsed and am playing FF games on my Vita lol. Beat this a few days ago though and it's worth it for the SP IF you enjoyed FC3's campaign (it's not very different...just don't expect something as intense as the Skrillex weed-burning session).

That's exactly how I feel about Xbox, so everyone has an opinion I guess. I still appreciate Nintendo, but they haven't strayed far enough from the franchises they set up in the 64 era IMO. But this isn't about the competition, so no point in mentioning them. Cool avatar btw.

It looked nice for it's time especially with the form factor being an advertisement for CD compatibility lol. Now it looks even sleeker, though I would probably sooner spring for a silver model after seeing that DQ SKU.

I had to go out and buy the white one the same generation Sony decided to start pumping out all kinds of nice colours. Oh well, it's not a big deal. I'm just kind of concerned about when white accessories will become easier to get a hold of. Wouldn't mind a white stand and camera over here in Canada.

Exactly. It's a shame, but it's pretty common with games and movies. It's exactly how I felt when I watched the batman trilogy and played most Final Fantasy games. Villains just get swept aside by time bombs and anti-gods from the abyss.

4065d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I feel like Pagan was the more compelling villain just because he showed more humanity and felt like a less antagonistic embodiment of insanity. Unlike Vaas, he never comes to kill you in a fit of rage, and he actually gives you the possibility for a form of redemption with his antithetical approach to violence at the story's conclusion; however both villains are undermined in that Vaas is reduced to a pawn of a corrupt capitalist and Pagan's character is never properly explored.

Could definitely see how the game's binds to HBO are a let down, though my main problem with Telltale now is that they are essentially a one trick pony. Now that the novelty of Walking Dead Season 1 has worn off I would like them to open up the selling point of their games: the moral dilemmas. They need to get closer to Heavy Rain and then surpass it because their plots are way too one-dimensional. Even Far Cry 4's story felt almost as open-ended as a Telltale game, which is really te...
